Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which character was not human (and not a droid)?

Answer: Chewbacca

The two possible answers for this question were Chewbacca and Yoda. Yoda had to be used for the "Return of the Jedi" question, so Chewie got used here.

Despite taking place in a vast galaxy with lots of different species, almost all the main characters across the saga were humans. This was explained in the Expanded Universe ("Star Wars" material beyond the movies) by making the galactic empire a human-supremacist government, suppressing all the other species.
2. Which character was a droid?

Answer: C-3PO

The two candidates for this question were C-3PO and R2-D2. R2 was used for the Dagobah question, so 3PO was used here.

Droids in "Star Wars" were treated the same way we treat machines here in the real world, but they clearly had sentience and were characters in their own right. They should probably have be given more rights than they had. C-3PO and R2-D2 were the only two characters to appear in all nine films of the "Skywalker Saga".
3. Which character was a twin?

Answer: Princess Leia

The two possible answers for this question were Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Luke had to be used for the throne room question, so Leia was used here.

Luke and Leia were twin siblings, which was not revealed (or written) until "Return of the Jedi". The Force-ghost of Obi-wan Kenobi told Luke that the twins were separated at birth and kept ignorant of each other for their safety. This scene was created more than twenty years later in the prequel movie "Revenge of the Sith."

In the old "Star Wars" Expanded Universe, Leia gave birth to twins named Jacen and Jaina in "The Last Command" (1993) by Timothy Zahn.
4. Which character was in the Emperor's Throne room in "Return of the Jedi?"

Answer: Luke Skywalker

The two characters in this quiz who went to see the Emperor were Luke Skywalker (in "The Empire Strikes Back") and Darth Vader (in "Return of the Jedi"). Vader was used for the imperial question, leaving Luke for this one.

The final confrontation in the throne room was a conflict of wills. The Emperor and Vader wanted to turn Luke to the Dark Side, and Luke wanted to redeem his father. This is why Luke willingly turned himself in to the imperials. In the end, when Vader had to choose between his Sith master and his son, he saved his son.
5. Which character worked for the evil Empire?

Answer: Darth Vader

The two answers for this question were Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin. Tarkin was used in the "A New Hope" question, so Vader was used here.

Despite not being the leader of the Empire, Vader was the only named imperial to appear in all three movies of the original trilogy. The "Imperial March" music represents the empire as a whole, but is sometimes called "Vader's Theme" because he is seen as the personification of the Empire.
6. Which character was seen on the swamp planet Dagobah?

Answer: R2-D2

The three characters who were on Dagobah were Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and Yoda. Luke had to be used for the throne room question, and Yoda had to be used for the "Return of the Jedi" question, leaving only R2.

Luke Skywalker visited Dagobah in "The Empire Strikes Back" to learn the ways of the Force from Yoda, and R2 was brought along for the ride. Luke and R2 briefly returned to Dagobah in the next film.
7. Which character blew up a Death Star?

Answer: Lando Calrissian

The two possible answers for this question were Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian. This was the only question that Lando was a viable answer for.

Luke destroyed the first Death Star in "A New Hope" by flying down the trench and sending two proton torpedoes into an exhaust port. The second Death Star, in "Return of the Jedi", did not have that design flaw, but was also incomplete. Lando flew the Millennium Falcon into the maze-like interior of the Death Star to shoot the main reactor directly.
8. Which character hid in a space worm?

Answer: Han Solo

The possible answers for this question were C-3PO, Chewbacca, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. This was the only question in the quiz that Han Solo was a viable answer for.

After fleeing Hoth in "The Empire Strikes Back", the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive was not working. Han had to fly into the nearby asteroid field to lose the pursuing imperials. They found a cave on one of the asteroids to hide in, except it turned out to not be a cave.
9. Which character died in "A New Hope" (1977)?

Answer: Grand Moff Tarkin

Tarkin was the only character in this quiz who died in "A New Hope", so he went here.

Grand Moff Tarkin decided to stay on the Death Star even after the Imperials figured out what the rebels were trying to do with their attacks. Luke Skywalker managed to destroy the Death Star with Tarkin on it, just before it was able to fire on the rebel base.
10. Which character died in "Return of the Jedi" (1983)?

Answer: Yoda

Two characters in this quiz died in "Return of the Jedi": Darth Vader and Yoda. Vader was used for the Imperial question, leaving Yoda for this one.

Luke Skywalker returned to Dagobah to finish his training, but there was nothing left for the old master to teach him. At 900 years old, Yoda willing laid down for the last time in his hut on the swamp planet. He would still talk to Luke as a Force ghost.
