The TV show "Hawaii Five-O" debuted in 1968 with the theme composed by Morton Stevens. The Ventures' cover version spent 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart and remains popular to this day, especially with school marching bands.
2. "The Pink Panther Theme"

Answer: Henry Mancini

Eleven "Pink Panther" movies have been released spanning four decades. Henry Mancini's score for the original, "The Pink Panther" (1963), was nominated for the Academy award for best musical score in 1964. The single won three Grammy Awards.
3. "Flight of the Bumblebee" ("The Green Hornet" TV show theme)

Al Hirt was nominated for 21 Grammy awards during his lifetime. "The Green Hornet" TV show only lasted for one season, 1966-1967, but had lasting cult status largely due to Bruce Lee.

During his lifetime, film music composer Alfred Newman was nominated for 45 Academy Awards and won nine. The epic film "How the West was Won" (1962) was filmed in the wide screen Cinerama process with a huge cast of well known actors including John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Debbie Reynolds and Henry Fonda.
8. "Theme from Mission: Impossible"

Lalo Schifrin has won five Grammy Awards for his music. "Mission: Impossible" originally ran on TV from 1967-1973. The theme peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. The four note repeated phrase in each measure throughout the piece rhythmically corresponds with the Morse code representation of the letters M (dash dash) and I (dot dot).
9. "Theme from A Summer Place"

"A Summer Place" was released in 1959 starring Sandra Dee and Troy Donahue. The theme was written by Max Steiner with lyrics by Mack Discant. The instrumental cover version was a Number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine weeks in 1960.
10. "Bonanza"

"Bonanza" ran for 14 seasons beginning in 1959. The theme song by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans is consider to be one of the top 100 western songs by the Western Writers of America. Johnny Cash and others covered this song but didn't chart as well as this instrumental version which reached number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
