Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Goldbergs

Answer: Hersheypark

The Goldberg family visits the amusement park in the fourth episode of season 6 in 2018. It is fittingly titled "Hersheypark". Adam is excited about his high school field trip to Hersheypark, but now that he is older, he does not want his mother to chaperone. So he and his friends lie and tell their parents the trip is cancelled. When Beverly discovers this, she gets with the other parents and they all write "guilt letters" to their children.

The parents' evil plan works and they go as chaperones. When Adam finds this out, he makes his mother ride the "sooperdooperLooper" coaster with him. The two of them then go through stages of terror, anger at each other, disorientation as they loop, and passing out from the G-force. All is well between them after the ride and Adam even sports a souvenir T-shirt.
2. Full House

Answer: Disney World

The "Full House" episode where the family visits Disney World is a two-part special called "The House Meets the Mouse", which served as the finale for season 6 and aired in 1993. It weaves several storylines together after Uncle Jesse's band, the Rippers, gets a gig to perform at the park.

Danny plans to propose to his girlfriend, Vicky, at Epcot Center, but his attempts are constantly interrupted before he succeeds in front of Cinderella Castle. Michelle is selected as "Princess of the Day" but soon gets lost in the large park before being found by Snow White. Jesse gets sidetracked by his work commitments, including doing a radio show from a shark tank with Joey, and has to make it up to Becky by serenading her. DJ's boyfriend, Steve, surprises her by showing up at the Grand Floridian. Finally, Joey creates a cartoon version of himself that comes to life.
3. Modern Family

Answer: Disneyland

"Modern Family" visited Disneyland in the 22nd episode of the third season in 2012. In the episode, which was named same as the park, the entire family brings their usual chaos to Anaheim, California.

Phil vows to keep up with Luke on all the roller coasters and is relieved to find out he has the flu and not motion sickness from being old. Haley runs into an old boyfriend who is working there as part of a barbershop quartet. Mitchell and Cameron draw evil glares from park visitors after they put their young daughter Lily on a tether. Gloria totters around the park on high heels until Jay buys her fuzzy slippers. And, finally, Manny learns to live in the moment and enjoy things like a good amusement park!
4. Baywatch

Answer: SeaWorld

The lifeguards of "Baywatch" get to visit SeaWorld in an episode titled "Baywatch at Sea World". It is the twentieth episode of the seventh season and aired in 1997.

One storyline surrounds a sea lion. Cody and C.J. rescue the animal, who appears to have been shot, and take it to the animal recovery facility at SeaWorld in San Diego. They name the sea lion "Leo". C.J. becomes extremely fond of Leo during the show. Meanwhile, Mitch and Jordan attempt to track down the fishermen responsible for shooting the sea lion. They find out the suspects are also poachers and help imprison them.

The other storyline is about a stunt show. Samantha gets the idea to promote lifeguarding and the Baywatch brand by organizing a realistic "Baywatch" theme stunt show at the park. Cody "volunteers" the lifeguards to participate and they all end up working on the choreography. Interestingly, the show ended up being incorporated in the real SeaWorld shows for years afterward.
5. King of Queens

Answer: Six Flags Magic Mountain

The "King of Queens" episode where they go to Six Flags Magic Mountain is titled "Emotional Rollercoaster". It is the 19th episode of season 8 and aired in 2006. It is about Doug turning 40 and his attempt to cover up a lie to his wife.

Carrie asks Doug if he's happy with his life as a big birthday comes up. Doug tells her he is going to a 'self help' workshop sponsored by work. Instead, he sneaks out to Magic Mountain. As a child, he had waited a long time in line to ride a coaster called "Goliath" and then backed out. He was now determined to conquer his fears. With bad luck, he ran into his boss at the park and ended up hanging out with him. He rode the coaster and faced his fears, but had to apologize profusely to Carrie after she found out.

Meanwhile, Arthur was also at the park working on a scam to pretend he was in a wheelchair to get to the front of the line!
6. Brady Bunch

Answer: Kings Island

Airing in November of 1973, the eleventh episode of the fifth season of "The Brady Bunch" is entitled "The Cincinnati Kids". The plot revolves around architect Mike Brady, who takes the family on a trip to Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he is scheduled to present expansion plans for the amusement park.

Jan buys a poster of Yogi Bear and asks to use one of her father's empty architectural plan canisters to store it. There is a mix-up and Mike accidentally gives her the canister with the plans in it and takes the one with the poster. By the time he finds out the error at the meeting, he has only half an hour to fix the situation.

Jan discovers she has lost the canister and the race is on! She and Marcia finally find it in a canoe on a ride and hand it to Alice. Alice races across the park and hands it to the younger children. Bobby and Cindy, who were sneaking junk food, race it to the older boys. Greg and Peter break away from flirting with girls and find their mother. Finally, Carol runs it to Mike just in time for the successful presentation.
7. The Simpsons

Answer: Itchy & Scratchy Land

"Itchy & Scratchy Land" is the fourth episode of season 6 of "The Simpsons" and originally aired in 1994. The episode is centered on the idea that the family decides to visit an amusement park based on their favorite cartoon called "The Itchy & Scratchy Show".

The problem is that Marge thinks the show is too violent as it is an over-the-top, bloody, and gruesome parody of classic cat-and-mouse cartoons. She is worried the park will be violent, too, but is pacified to hear there is a place just for adults called Parents' Island. While at the park, the family experiences rides such as a log ride that runs red with pseudo blood.

A storm traps the group on Parents' Island, which turns out to be hideously dull. While they are there, robots go haywire in the park and start attacking people. The Simpsons figure out that camera flash bulbs stop the robots and they are hailed as heroes before they go home.
8. Bob's Burgers

Answer: Wonder Wharf

There are several episodes of "Bob's Burgers" that take place in Wonder Wharf, the local amusement area. The episode "Wharf, Me Worry?" is the eighth episode of season 14 and aired in 2023.

The main plot is about the relationships between Bob, his father, and the children. Bob is worried that his dad's pessimism is a bad influence. They all go to the amusement park where the kids "fish" for plastic toys. Suddenly, the kids discover a new fortune-telling attraction called Clamstradamus at Wonder Wharf. The new addition is a large, talking mechanical clam operated by a human. Bob and the kids sneak into the control booth and use the microphone to talk to the grandfather. However, it is revealed he loves his grandchildren and is secretly optimistic about them. They all go to the Ferris wheel.
9. South Park

Answer: Cartmanland

The South Park episode titled "Cartmanland" is the sixth episode of season 5 and first aired in 2001. The premise is that Cartman inherits a million dollars from his grandmother and buys an amusement park. He renames it in his own honor and has a rule that no one can come. He wants to ride everything with no lines.

Kyle, upset that Cartman seems to get everything, gets a self-induced hemorrhoid, which gets worse. Cartman soon discovers that the operating costs quickly consume his savings. To stay afloat, he is forced to open the park to the general public, destroying his dream of private ownership. Even worse for him, the park is crowded because the "No one can come" theme actually attracts people.

Cartman sells the park back for his million dollars but has to give it all up to the IRS for back taxes. Seeing Cartman miserable totally healed Kyle.
10. Rick and Morty

Answer: Anatomy Park

The characters on "Rick and Morty" visit the park in the third episode of the first season in an episode entitled "Anatomy Park". Rick reveals he created a miniature, microscopic amusement park, Anatomy Park, inside a homeless man named Reuben. Here, people can, similar to "Jurassic Park", view wild creatures in their natural habitats. The creatures are diseases.

Morty is shrunk and injected into the park. He joins up with other park officials and workers. Even though there are rides there like Pirates of the Pancreas or Spleen Mountain, they have no time to enjoy them. The people must try to escape the deadly diseases that are rampaging through the area.

Unfortunately, Reuben dies from tuberculosis and now Morty must escape the park and the corpse.
Rick places the body in his spaceship and uses a growth ray to enlarge it to the size of the continental United States. He rescues Morty just before the body explodes.
