"Donkey Kong Jr. Math" was an early 1980s educational video game which attempted to use 'Junior' to teach the player addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The idea is that Junior had to weave his way around barrels and swing across vines, 'attacking' a number or operation to change it. The objective was to form four correct math statements, such as 1 + 1 = 2, to defeat Donkey Kong.

"Donkey Kong Hockey" is another very rare game that was developed for the Game & Watch. It has multiplayer functionality amazing enough, if you can somehow get your hands on two Game & Watch machines. In it, you very simply play a digital game of field hockey, where one side is Donkey Kong and the other is Mario.

There are three "Donkey Kong Country" games: the first by the simple name, the second going by "Diddy's Kong Quest" and then the third being "Dixie Kong's Double Trouble." This trio of games arguably makes up the greatest "Donkey Kong" media ever made, and each one of them is an excellent platformer. The first in particular has been remade numerous times, and is generally considered to be the best. But, in my personal opinion, the second game has both the better graphics/appearance and soundtrack juxtaposed to the first and third. The third is certainly still an excellent game in its own right.

"Donkey Kong Land" was for the GameBoy. It was more or less the same idea to "Country", only with a much more distinctly bright and less gloomy aesthetic through most of the game. This game, while not as celebrated as "Country", is still an excellent game in its own right.

"Donkey Kong 64", although not aging particularly gracefully, is my personal choice for favorite game in the franchise. This is a super, super lengthy and deep adventure which launched on the Nintendo 64, before being ported a few times over. It features the entire DK Crew. If you want to truly 100% this game, you will have no choice but to get really, really familiar with each individual member, Donkey Kong himself being no exception.

The "Mario vs Donkey Kong" series debuted one title for the Gameboy Advanced, but then proceeded to almost entirely be for the DS and 3DS thereafter.

"DK: King of Swing" was a very unique game in the franchise, arguably for dubious reasons. This is a platforming game, but it is not at all traditional. In this game, the player must go entire levels almost exclusively traveling via DK swinging from point to point, using a really funky control scheme. This type of game was done better in future iterations. But, personally, this was a rougher offering to be certain.

In the realm of unique games, it can be argued that none stood out more on the Gamecube that "Donkey Konga" and its three sequels. This game does not use a conventional controller, instead incorporating the use of physical Konga drums. It is basically Nintendo's idea of a "Guitar Hero" game only, again, using plastic drums instead of a plastic guitar.

The "Donkey Kong Country Returns" title may initially imply a remake or a remaster, but this is more of a long awaited fourth entry into the "Country" series. It released in 2010 for the Wii.

Similarly, "Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze" was the fifth iteration into the series. This one came out in 2014 for the Wii U.

"Donkey Kong Bananza" came out for the Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. For a long time, fans of the franchise had clamored for a slightly more approachable, less fluffed out idea that "Donkey Kong 64" had put forth. There was hope that a cleaner, more technically sound idea of this game could be made, and that's what "Bananza" sought to do. This is also recognized as the sixth entry into the "Country" series.

In "Punch Out!!" for the Wii, Little Mac's very final opponent is the big ape himself. This fight is renowned for being the hardest in the entire "Punch Out" series, subjectively potentially even eclipsing Little Mac's famous bout against Mike Tyson himself.

Donkey Kong has been a consistent presence in every entry of the "Super Smash Bros." series. Along the way, Diddy Kong joined the roster in "Brawl" and then DK's archenemy King K. Rool got involved in "Ultimate".

"Diddy Kong Racing" came out on the N64 originally before being brought to the DS. This is definitely an instance where the original wins out, as the remake omits a few small things that made the original what it was. That said, as far as this quiz is concerned, Donkey Kong himself is entirely absent from this game.

"Donkey Kong Jr. English", "Donkey Kong Carnival", "Donkey Kong Football", "Donkey Kong Racing", "Mario vs. Diddy Kong" and "Donkey Kong Country: Scenic Snowstorm" do not exist.
