Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Soldier who escaped with Revan from the Endar Spire

Answer: Carth Onasi

The Republic soldier Carth Onasi was also a pilot. His main role was in "KotOR" with a brief appearance possible in "The Sith Lords" via messages. When the Endar Spire was ambushed by a Sith fleet, he narrowly escaped via escape pod with the memory-wiped Revan. He became a member of Revan's party.

The character options chosen for Revan and the way the player developed Revan's character during "KotOR" affected how Carth Onasi interacted with Revan. These ranged from a romance option to having a boss fight.
2. Code-breaking astromech droid

Answer: T3-M4

T3-M4 was a non-speaking droid appearing in both "KotOR" and the sequel as a player companion. It communicated by means of bleeps, although the context usually made its meaning clear. Who was among the companions at the time also mattered. T3-M4 provided code-breaking skills and the like which was essential at times in making progress in the game.
3. The wraith-like Lord of Hunger

Answer: Darth Nihilus

Darth Nihilus was one of the Sith Lord antagonists in the sequel game. The other main antagonist in that game was Darth Sion. Darth Nihilus was motivated by draining the life force out of living things, which was the reason for the nickname 'Lord of Hunger'. The wraith-like appearance and distinctive mask probably made Darth Nihilus one of the more memorable characters.
4. Apprentice to Darth Nihilus

Answer: Visas Marr

This particular apprentice was Visas Marr, who appeared in the sequel game. A Miraluka female from the planet Katarr, she was left alive by Darth Nihilus during his consumption of her planet's organic life. Considered blind when using ordinary sight, she 'saw' through the Force. Although she was on the Dark side in the game, she could be turned to join the Exile's party.
5. Human pilot freed from a force cage on Peragus

Answer: Atton Rand

A playable character from "The Sith Lords", Atton Rand had a history he hid behind a wise-cracking exterior and through evasion. His history was darker than that of Hans Solo, who had a similar roguish nature. The Jedi Exile freed him from the force cage on the Peragus mining station and he later joined the Ebon Hawk crew.

A significant amount of story material involving Atton was cut from "The Sith Lords" but later restored in a fan volunteer project "The Sith Lords Restored Content Modification" ("TSLRCM").
6. Veteran Mandalorian warrior

Answer: Canderos Ordo

Appearing in both "KotOR" and its sequel (although with a name change), Canderous Ordo was a playable character and Mandalorian mercenary. He helped the player's character Devan in "KotOR" to get into Davik's estate. At the conclusion of "KotOR", he became Mandalore the Preserver and leader of the Mandalorians.

He pledged himself and his warriors to the service of the Jedi Exile in the sequel.
7. A feline Jedi Knight and potential companion of Revan

Answer: Juhani

Juhani was notable for being the first LGBTQ video game character in the "Star Wars" franchise. Of the feline Cathar species, she had turned to the Dark side by the time she was encountered in the KotOR game. Depending on choices made by the player, she might get killed by Revan, or redeemed and join the party, and possibly develop romantic feelings for a female-version Revan.
8. Courteous but homicidal assassin droid

Answer: HK-47

A droid with a formal manner of speech, AK-47 appeared in both games. It was constructed by Revan before the timeline of the games, had a liking for violence and referred to organic beings as 'meatbags'. HK-47 became a member of the player's party after being found for sale in a Tatooine droid shop.

This was another character with significant dialogue cut from "The Sith Lords" that subsequently was reconstructed and appeared in "TSLRCM".
9. Self-appointed teacher and mentor to the Jedi Exile

Answer: Kreia

Kreia was a playable character in "The Sith Lords" and claimed to be connected to the Jedi Exile by the Force. Dialogue during the game revealed that she had also taught Revan (from "KotOR"). She left the Jedi Exile's party towards the end of the game.

It turned out that she was the Sith Lord Darth Traya, aka The Lord of Betrayal, with plans to destroy the Force. She was the Jedi Exile's opponent in the final boss fight of the game.
10. Former apprentice of Revan and antagonist

Answer: Darth Malak

Darth Malak was the main antagonist in "KotOR". His backstory included time as a Jedi apprentice to Revan, both of whom then disobeying the Jedi Council to fight against the Mandalorians after which Malak became Revan's Sith apprentice. Malak in time regarded Revan as too soft, leading to a duel when Malak lost his lower jaw. Malak then betrayed Revan, leading to Revan's memory wipe and the condition in which Revan was at the beginning of "KotOR".
