Dolores Umbridge taught at Hogwarts but developed a strict curriculum most students hated. Harry shouted out how useless it would be to not practice spells since that practice would come in handy should a student become attacked.

As Harry races off to the spot where he 'saw' Sirius being tortured, Neville comes across the prophecy nearby and tells Harry 'It's got your name on it'. Harry then, naturally goes to look. We learn from Neville himself, when he confides in Harry in the Room of Requirement, that his parents were tortured to a point of insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange. He is a tall, skinny boy who isn't very good when it comes to magic. Despite this he is a lovable character and is very loyal to Harry through his years at Hogwarts.

After traveling all the way to the Ministry of Magic and into the Hall of Prophecies, Harry picks up the shining ball with his name on it and is asked to hand it over. Lucius Malfoy is the father of Draco Malfoy and is a prized Death Eater, even though he supposedly gave up faith awfully quickly after the Dark Lord's downfall. He leads his little party in the Hall of Prophecies, to get the prophecy.

Dudley then says this line and starts teasing Harry about things he has been saying in his sleep and asking him if Cedric was his boyfriend. Angry by the references to Cedric, Harry pulls his wand on Dudley, a move that only Dudley appreciates! Despite the radical changes in his appearance this time around, Dudley has been played by Harry Melling in all of the movies.

Having served a household of dark wizards for most of his life, Kreacher is appalled at the Order using his mistress' house as a headquarters. He is constantly muttering insults under his breath about the Mudblood and Blood Traitors around him, and is seen talking to his mistress' portrait. In the book Kreacher plays a role in the trap that lures Harry to the Ministry of Magic where the Death Eaters are waiting for him, but this is not included in the movie.

Harry knows Mrs. Figg as a neighbouring woman with many cats, who used to watch him from time to time when the Dursleys went out. What he doesn't know is that she is a Squib who has been asked by Dumbledore to keep an eye on Harry. She meets him while he is escorting a rather stunned Dudley home, and tells him not to put his wand away in case the Dementors return. In the book she is angry at Mundungus who vanished during his shift of guarding Harry, but no mention of this is made in the movie.

They did not want the neighbors to know it was done by magic.

Ron flippantly remarks that "One person couldn't feel all that...they'd explode." Hermione delivers this amazing zinger and the three friends dissolve into laughter. Hermione is played by Emma Watson.

Arthur escorts Harry to the Ministry for his hearing. When they reach the phone booth that serves as the Visitor's Entrance to the Ministry of Magic, he makes the above observation and adds a comment about getting out his Muggle money as he steps into the booth with Harry. Arthur Weasley is played by Mark Williams.

Harry assures Cho that Cedric did know all this stuff and was, in fact, really good. Then the mistletoe appears and they kiss. Cho is played by Katie Leung.

He is constantly calling Hermione a Mudblood and calling Sirius (the only member of his family who did not get sorted into Slytherin) a blood traitor. When he passes Harry he mutters this at him and then gets yelled at by Sirius. Kreacher is voice by Timothy Bateson.

During Harry's hearing, Fudge (the Minister of Magic) tries to discredit Harry's claim that there were Dementors, because Harry could produce no witnesses. Dumbledore speaks up and produces a witness, Mrs. Arabella Figg. She is asked to describe them, and begins to describe Harry and Dudley with the above comment. She is interrupted and asked to describe the Dementors instead. Mrs. Figg is played by Kathryn Hunter.

Luna's silvery rabbit is seen hopping around the Room of Requirement. Hermione produces the otter, and Harry produces the stag (as his father before him). The doe is a Patronus we learn about in the seventh book, but I won't reveal who produces it, in case I spoil anything for you! If you have read the book you will know that her Patronus is actually a hare, which is closely related to a rabbit.

The ear works splendidly, with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred and George able to hear what is being said in the meeting. Then Crookshanks, Hermione's cat, starts to play with the ear, which is dangling from a long string in the most enticing fashion (from a cat's perspective). The cat manages to separate the ear from the string and takes off with it. A later shot of the cat licking its lips and seeming to burp, leads one to believe that the ear was eaten.

Hagrid's remark is prompted by the unnatural-looking storm that seems to be rumbling in the distance, but he is also speaking metaphorically about the approaching confrontation with Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Hagrid is played by Robbie Coltrane.

This remark is made as they are getting off the Hogwarts' Express and making their way to the carriages. Because the Ministry is refusing to believe that Voldemort has returned, it is launching a smear campaign against Harry to discredit his assertions that Voldemort has indeed returned. Malfoy's comment alludes to this effort to make Harry appear unstable and attention seeking. Draco Malfoy is played by Tom Felton.
