Answer: Tasha

Although they had broken up in the first season, Oren and Tasha still had feelings for each other and by the end of the season they were a couple again. When Hendricks sees that Jess's friends are still alive, he tells Billie's men to shoot Oren, Ethan, Tasha and Liam. Oren jumps in front of Tasha to try and save her. Although she had just been stabbed with a sword in the back, Agent Ross is able to shoot the henchmen before they can kill Jess's friends.

Oren and Liam go to the FBI field office where Agent Ross works in the hopes that she can help them find Jess and Rafael. Liam tells Agent Ross that Myles, the former nurse of his grandfather (former FBI agent Peter Sadusky) had been killed. Oren then opens up to Agent Ross under a polygraph so she'll believe him. The exact questions asked to Oren aren't shown but Agent Ross tells him he passed the polygraph and that she will help them stop Billie and find Jess and Rafael.

Billie doesn't believe Rafael telling him that he had double crossed her before.

However, he declines this payment and then has a change of heart to not assist Billie any longer.

The auctioneer tells Billie that there is no journal written by Malinche. However, the auctioneer trades a journal of Cortes that he indicates had passages written by Malinche in it. In exchange, Billie gives the auctioneer a mosaic from the Roman emperor Caligula that was thought to have been lost. Caligula was the third Roman emperor ruling from 37-41 CE. He is typically viewed as a cruel and incompetent ruler.

Riley Poole walks off a jet and by cell phone tells his friend and former star of the "National Treasure" films Benjamin Franklin Gates that he has finally gotten his own streaming show. Comically, Riley then has to explain that streaming shows are different than podcasts. In both the films and the show "National Treasure: Edge of History", Riley Poole is played by the American actor Justin Bartha.

In the video Manuela Valenzuela is speaking to a panel of experts about lost Mesoamerican treasure. She tells the panel that rather than being a traitor as she is commonly depicted, Malinche was a hero and double agent who was working for the Aztecs while she was an interpreter for the Spanish under Cortez. Referred to as 'La Malinche', she was a woman of Nahua descent who helped spy and smuggle treasure away from the Spanish. The panel dismisses her theories and they tell her there is no lost treasure and they reiterate their thoughts that Malinche was a traitor. Later in the video, Jess sees her father dancing with her mother and she is filled with both happiness and sadness as it was the first time she had seen a video with her father in it.

Answer: USS Kidd

Billie wants to meet Jess at the loading dock at the Baton Rouge Port but Jess contends that the spot is too private. Jess recommends instead that they meet at the museum gift shop for the USS Kidd which is moored in Baton Rouge. In the past Jess worked at the USS Kidd gift shop and she knew there'd be a security guard on site. Although the USS Kidd was called the 'Pirate of the Pacific', it was not named after the pirate Captain William Kidd but rather after Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd, Sr. who died while aboard the USS Arizona on December 7, 1941.

A man named Rafael is shown dressed up as a nun in a church and he finds/steals the Aztec relic from it. Tragically, Rafael is presumed dead after his house burns down when the men attack him. Luckily his wife, Manuela, and his daughter, Jess, are able to escape.

The water of the Devil's Swamp is too shallow to use a motor so the boats have to be propelled by pushing off the ground with wooden poles. Both Billie's boat that transported Jess and Rafael against their will and the boat that Ethan and Liam used were propelled by the wooden poles. From personal experience, I've found that using oars to paddle through water is faster than pushing off the ground with poles.

When Agent Ross tells Tasha her name is Hannah Betsy Ross, Tasha responds "really, Betsy Ross"? Agent Ross laughs along and tells Tasha that her mom liked to sew. Betsy Ross was born in 1752 and she is often credited with convincing George Washington to adopt a five-pointed 13-star design for the United States flag in 1776. Although Betsy Ross being the first to design the U.S. flag is disputed, it is documented that she designed flags for over 50 years after the American Revolutionary War.

Jess is a part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in which she is able to live in the USA without official immigration status. Knowing that time is of the essence, Jess takes the risk of going to Mexico without obtaining an advanced parole.

Jess is surprised that Billie knew what her favorite drink was but Billie tells her that she does her homework on those she is doing business with.

In episode four there is a wake being held at the former home of Peter Sadusky. Liam invites Jess to the wake and then Tasha, Ethan and Oren are also invited to pay their respects. Jess and Liam share a bond in that they both had one or both of their parents die while they were still young.

The Daughters of the Plumed Serpent are a group of Mesoamerican women that helped protect treasure from their ethnic groups from being taken by the Spanish army led by Cortez. Tasha tells Jess that this will give her 10 minutes to go through the drainage area, retrieve her father Rafael from the prison and return.

Billie had kidnapped Oren earlier in the season and presumably had put a bug or recording device on his shoe at that time.

Jess and her friends travel to Graceland to search for clues that may be located there.

Eventually she figures out that she has to align the sun, rabbit, ground and briar patch images for the relic to open.

Later in the episode, Ethan would make a smoke signal that he learned while in Boy Scouts to help the search team find them. The seven levels of Boy Scouts are Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star Scout, Life Scout, and Eagle Scout.

When Billie locates the needle on the spine of Rafael's journal, he tells her that it used to be Manuela's old sewing needle. Billie is not convinced and she correctly guesses that the needle can open the artifact on Jess's necklace. Once open, the needle is placed inside and it acts as a wayfinder when they are near the Mesoamerican treasure.

A guard brings shoes to Rafael who is surprised to see that they finally arrived. He tells the guard that he had been waiting months for them and the guard tells him it must be his lucky day. Later we learn that the shoes were actually sent by Billie who put a tracker in them to know where Rafael went after he escaped.

Ethan visits Agent Ross to tell her that he has known Jess for years and he knows her character and that she wouldn't commit murder. However, Agent Ross tells Ethan that the FBI has analyzed the recording and has determined it is genuine. When Ethan hears the recording and the use of the word 'further', he knows that it is not really Jess's voice but some kind of program mimicking her voice. Ethan explains that people of British heritage like Billie use the word further whereas Jess would never use the word further but instead would use the word farther. Interestingly, later in the episode Billie meets Agent Ross and she tells her "I hope your next lead doesn't take you even further away from home".
