1. How would you say: "Przepraszam, ile kosztuja te lody?", in English?

"Excuse me, where can I buy a sponge?" would be: "Przepraszam, gdzie moge kupic gabke?", "Sorry, did I offend you?" would be: "Przepraszam, czy obrazilem cie?", "Excuse me, have I got a pen on my face?" would be: "Przepraszam, czy mam dlugopis na twarzy?". Te lody is actually plural because there is no singular for ice-cream in Polish. It's a bit like sheep in the English language. Also, "przepraszam" has two meanings: sorry and excuse me.

2. What is a way to introduce yourself in Polish?

You need to say "Nazywam sie..." and then say your first name and surname. "Kogo diloko" doesn't exist in Polish; "do widzenia" is good-bye and "przepraszam" means: excuse me, I am sorry.

'Dzien dobry' is a way of saying 'good morning', even if it literally means 'good day.' You can also say, more informally, 'witam' or 'czesc' (both these phrases can be used at any time of a day). 'Dobranoc' means 'good night' and 'Dobry wieczor' is the Polish for 'Good evening'.

20. The month of June, "czerwiec", is so named for the ancient custom of gathering a certain insect larvae ("czerw") to make a textile dye. What color was that dye?

You can also say, more formally, "jestem spragniony", but it is not very commonly used in the spoken language. "Chce mi sie pic" literally translates into "I want to drink". Luckily it can be said both by men and women ;).
