A 2013 film was released about the club and about Hilly, with Alan Rickman in the main role. They said "he kept us alive, he fed us, and he supported us in every way possible."

They still have live music most nights but much of the 'expat' clientele have left Hong Kong. Dusk 'til Dawn and Joe Bananas both feature live bands, DJs and dancing till very late.
