Thin tender pancakes are folded and drenched with a buttery orange sauce with brandy (I think). Often, this dessert is served flambee. No one was badly hurt, luckily.

This rich and yummy buttermilk chocolate cake (which isn't really German) has layers of buttery coconut pecan filling. I wish I had a giant wedge of it right now! I'd eat it with a steaming cup of French-roast coffee.
