"Love's Labour's Lost" is one of Shakespeare's early comedies, telling the tale of the King of Navarre and three of his noble friends swearing off women to devote themselves to three years of study. Suffice to say, the arrival of the Princess of France and her three attendants complicates things.

"Twelfth Night" was written for the end of the Christmas season and creates an interesting love triangle between Orsino (Duke of Illyria), his page (castaway Viola, disguised as a young man named Cesario), and the countess Olivia, whom Orsino is trying to woo. Orsino wants Olivia, Olivia wants Cesario (who is actually Viola), and Viola wants Orsino (who thinks she is a man).

"Much Ado About Nothing" follows the antics surrounding two pairs of lovers, antagonistic Benedick and Beatrice, and sapid Claudio and Hero. The two couples are both tricked, through invented gossip and rumour, to reverse their natural inclinations towards each other.

"The Tempest" describes the efforts of Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place. Using magical powers, Prospero conjures a storm to catch those that usurped his throne and force them to his island.

Answer: The Taming of the Shrew

"The Taming of the Shrew" is a comedy surrounding the efforts of a father and numerous suitors to marry off an elder daughter (the shrewish Kathrina) before allowing the desirable younger daughter Bianca to be wooed.

Answer: A Midsummer Night's Dream

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a magical tale surrounding the impending wedding of the Duke of Athens (Theseus) and the Queen of the Amazons (Hippolyta). In the end, one wonders whether it was all just a dream, or not.

Answer: Julius Caesar

"Julius Caesar" dramatizes the events surrounding the conspiracy against Caesar, his assassination, and the subsequent defeat of the conspirators at the Battle of Philippi.

Answer: Antony and Cleopatra

In the same vein as "Julius Caesar", "Antony and Cleopatra" follows the relationship between the two lovers from the time of the Parthian War until Cleopatra's suicide.
