Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Victoire Weasley, the daughter of Bill and Fleur, was the final character introduced in the "Harry Potter" series. There is a special reason her name is what it is and it all has to do with her birthday. Can you tell me what day her birthday falls on?

Answer: May 2nd

Victoire was born on the anniversary of the day the Second Wizarding War (the fight against Voldemort and the Battle of Hogwarts) ended, therefore she was named Victoire, which is French for "Victory". French was the native language of her mother. She is one-eighth Veela and is romantically linked with Teddy Lupin.
2. George Weasley went on to marry Angelina Johnson, and named his first-born child Fred, in honour of his deceased twin brother. However, what was the name of his second child?

Answer: Roxanne

George never really got over his brother's death, but continued with their business, Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, which remained immensely popular after the war. Angelina actually attended the Yule Ball with Fred, however it was never confirmed if they ever went out as boyfriend and girlfriend.
3. We all remember Professor Lockhart, who had his memory wiped when his own spell backfired on him. Afterwards he spent a great deal of time in St. Mungo's, but did he ever recover and go back to his old life?

Answer: No

The illustrious Professor remained in St. Mungo's for the rest of his life, with only a faint recollection of his former life. He continued to sign many autographs for anyone who visited him.
4. Neville Longbottom eventually became Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts, but which Hogwarts drop-out did he eventually marry?

Answer: Hannah Abbot

Hannah became Landlady of the Leaky Cauldron, where she lived with Neville. It is not known if they had any children. Hannah dropped out of Hogwarts in her sixth-year, after her parents were murdered by Death Eaters.
5. Harry, as we know, married Ginny and they had three healthy children, James, Albus and Lily. However can you tell me the middle names (in order) of these children?

Answer: Sirius, Severus, Luna

Yes, Harry chose Sirius as the middle name for his first born child. Albus Severus as we know was named after two of Hogwart's finest Headmasters, and Lily Luna was named for Harry's mother and Ginny's best friend.
6. Luna Lovegood married much later than most of her friends when she tied the knot with Rolf Scamander. They became great wizarding naturalists together and discovered many new species of creatures. There was one creature, however, which Luna never found. Which creature was this?

Answer: Crumple-Horned Snorkack

After many years of searching Luna finally accepted that Crumple-Horned Snorkacks did, in fact, not exist. All of the other creatures are well-known in the wizarding world. Luna had two children, twins named Lorcan and Lysander, They were considerably younger than Harry or Ron's children.
7. In one of the final scenes of the book Harry visits Dumbledore's portrait in the Headmaster's Office. At that time there was not a portrait of Hogwarts' most recent Headmaster, Severus Snape, in the office. Was one ever placed there?

Answer: Yes

A portrait of Snape was not originally placed in the Office, as he had effectively abandoned his post in his dying hours (similar to a royal abdicating their throne). However later in his life Harry was instrumental in ensuring that a portrait of Snape was eventually included in the Office.
8. After finishing her schooling at Hogwarts, Ginny went on to play Quidditch professionally. What was the name of the captain of the team for which she played?

Answer: Gwenog Jones

Ginny played for the all-witch team, the Holyhead Harpies. She met Gwenog first at a Slug Club party during her fifth-year. After the birth of her son James, Ginny retired from Quidditch and became Senior Quidditch Correspondent with the Daily Prophet.
9. Harry became Head of the Auror Office after the war, but he also did some some consulting work for a certain organisation. Can you say which one?

Answer: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

According to JK Rowling, Harry pops up to Hogwarts every now and again to give the odd talk on Defense Against the Dark Arts. He also takes these visits as opportunities to meet with Neville.
10. After avoiding a sentence in Azkaban, Draco Malfoy married Astoria Greengrass and had a child. Can you tell me this child's name?

Answer: Scorpius Hyperion

In the film adaption of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2)", Tom Felton (the actor who plays Malfoy), had his real life girlfriend [Jade Olivia] play Astoria. Astoria has a sister called Daphne. Scorpius is a classmate of Rose Weasley and Albus Potter.

He is said to greatly resemble his father. Although many people thought that Draco would marry Pansy Parkinson, his girlfriend at Hogwarts, JK always said she thought of Pansy as the anti-Hermione and wanted Draco, who was at least partly reformed, to marry someone else.
