Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Became Minister for Magic

Answer: Hermione

It should not be a surprise that Hermione, often called the brightest witch of her age, worked her way up and eventually became Minister for Magic, replacing Kingsley Shacklebolt when he retired. She began her career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, continuing her long quest to improve the lives of house-elves.

Unsurprisingly, she continued her work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, where she helped to abolish laws that favored pure bloods. She was elected as the 36th Minister for Magic sometime around 2019.
2. Translated "The Tales of Beedle the Bard"

Answer: Hermione

While a student at Hogwarts, one of Hermione's favorite classes was Ancient Runes, and she earned an Outstanding O.W.L. in the class. Perhaps that is why Professor Dumbledore left his copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" to Hermione in his will, as it was written in ancient runes. She was surely the most proficient in the subject between the three friends who were looking for the Deathly Hallows!

When she translated the book, Hermione was assisted by Hogwarts Headmistress McGonagall. She allowed Hermione access to notes about the book that Dumbledore wrote about each tale before his death. He left them in his will to the Hogwarts archives.
3. Married Ron Weasley

Answer: Hermione

It is safe to say that when Ron initially met Hermione he didn't like her very much. She was a "know-it-all"and a "nightmare". The event that really solidified their friendship was in "Philosopher's Stone", when Hermione took the blame for being in the wrong place after Ron and Harry saved her from a mountain troll - when they were all really in the wrong place.

Throughout the books, hints were dropped that Ron and Hermione would eventually find their path together. Hermione spent a lot of time at The Burrows while off from school, and, by the "Goblet of Fire", Ron was very jealous that Hermione went to the Yule Ball with Victor Krum. In "Half-Blood Prince" Hermione was absolutely furious about Ron's relationship with Lavender Brown. It just took some time - and a raging battle in "Deathly Hallows" - for them to admit their feelings to themselves and each other.
4. Had a son and a daughter

Answer: Hermione

Hermione and Ron had a daughter named Rose, and a son named Hugo. While there has been a lot of discussion about why the name Rose was chosen for their daughter, it must been remembered that many of Rowling's female characters (Lily, Petunia, Lavender, Narcissa, etc.) were named for flowers, and were given characteristics that closely followed the symbolism of the flower. Rose was the same age as her cousin, Albus, and the two were good friends. While at Hogwarts, she excelled at Quidditch and was sorted into Gryffindor House.

It has been said that Hugo was named for one of Rowling's favorite authors, Victor Hugo (probably one of Hermione's favorites too), and that it worked for both kids having their parents' initials - R & H. He was first introduced in "Deathly Hallows" at King's Cross Station at the end of the book, talking to his cousin Lily Luna about the Hogwarts Houses they might be sorted into when they were old enough.
5. Married Harry Potter

Answer: Ginny

Clearly it was plain to see that Ginny thought Harry Potter was very special. She was fascinated by his reputation when she first met him, and soon after her feelings developed into a full blown crush. Unfortunately, whenever Harry was around, Ginny was shy and awkward. In "Chamber of Secrets" she wrote about her feelings in the old diary that she found among her school books. Not only did Harry rescue her from Tom Riddle's possession, he was really the only one who was nice to her after it was revealed to all.

Ginny decided to take Hermione's advice. She tried to relax in front of Harry, and even had other boyfriends. She defended him whenever she deemed necessary, and Harry finally noticed her and returned her feelings in "Half-Blood Prince". By the end of the book, however, Harry, afraid that Voldemort would discover their feelings, broke up with Ginny in order to protect her. After the Second Wizarding War was over, the two reconnected and were eventually married.
6. Played professional Quidditch

Answer: Ginny

After finishing her education at Hogwarts, Ginny played with the Holyhead Harpies, an all female team that played in the British and Irish Quidditch League. It was the second oldest Quidditch team in the League - founded in 1203 - and the only one that was all female.

In all probability, Ginny was a Chaser on the team, as that was her primary position on the Hogwarts Gryffindor team. Sometimes, when Harry was not available, she even filled in as her team's Seeker.
7. Became Sports Editor for Daily Prophet

Answer: Ginny

After retiring from playing professional Quidditch, Ginny took a job as the senior Quidditch Correspondent for "The Daily Prophet". She attended the 2014 Quidditch World Cup and submitted several stories to the newspaper; she even covered the final with live reports, while working with the awful Rita Skeeter.

No worry, though. Ginny definitely could take care of herself. After an especially nasty remark from Rita regarding Ginny's husband that Ginny overheard, Rita somehow came down with a sudden illness. Huh! By 2020 Ginny was working as the newspaper's Sports Editor.
8. Had two sons and a daughter

Answer: Ginny

Unlike their close friends, Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny named their children after people who were dear to them. James Sirius was their oldest son, named for James Potter and his best friend and Harry's godfather, Sirius Black. He attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor House. He was excited to attend the 2014 Quidditch World Cup, where his father introduced him to Viktor Krum.

Albus Severus, named for Professors Dumbledore and Snape, was two years younger than his brother. He was sorted into Slytherin House, and his exploits with Scorpius Malfoy and struggles with living up to his father's legacy are well documented in "The Cursed Child".

Lily Luna, two years younger than Albus, was named for Harry's mother, Lily, and Luna Lovegood, a good friend to both Harry and Ginny. She was eventually sorted into Gryffindor House when she attended Hogwarts.
9. Married Rolf Scamander

Answer: Luna

Although Neville declared that he was crazy about Luna in the movie, "Deathly Hallows 2", it didn't happen that way in the book. The two were just very close friends and comrades in arms.

Luna and Rolf were both naturalists, and presumably met while doing field work. He was the grandson of the famous Newt Scamander, who wrote "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", the textbook that was used for the Care of Magical Creatures class at Hogwarts. When the two were married, Rita Skeeter published unkind words regarding Luna's wedding dress; Luna, like always, was happy just being herself.
10. Became a Magizoologist

Answer: Luna

A Magizoologist is a person who studies magical creatures, although it does not appear that one needed any sort of special training to do so. After leaving Hogwarts, Luna traveled the world as a Magizoologist, cataloging several new species. Over time she had to admit that her father made up some of the creatures, like the Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, that he always talked about. Luna's kind nature, along with her calmness in difficult situations, helped her to excel in her field.

Eventually Luna was asked to return to Hogwarts and investigate a problem with baby manticores. She used her knowledge to track them into the Forbidden Forest and find their mother.
11. Had twin sons

Answer: Luna

Luna and her husband had twin sons, Lorcan and Lysander. Both were considerably younger than her friends' kids, and little is known about them. Some fans believe they were shown in the epilogue of the movie "Deathly Hallows 2" at King's Cross Station - two little blonde boys who were happily watching the goings on there as students boarded the Hogwarts Express.
12. Became Professor of Field Studies at Hogwarts

Answer: Luna

After successfully traveling the world as a naturalist, Luna was asked to return to Hogwarts as Professor of Field Studies, a brand new class that was being formed. Students enrolling in the class had to meet an age requirement and pass a preliminary test. Luna would take them to the creatures' natural habitats; one of the creatures the class studied was Thunderbirds, and Luna's class went to a desert region by Portkey to study them.
