Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Fred Weasley, one of the Weasley twins, is unfortunately killed during the infamous Battle of Hogwarts. Naturally, one of his siblings names a child after him in Fred's memory - but who was it?

Answer: George Weasley

After the Second Wizarding War, George Weasley marries Angelina Johnson, star chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team during (at least) the 1980-81, 1982-83, 1984-85 and the 1986-87 school years. The pair named their first-born child Fred Weasley II after the Gryffindor hero who fought valiantly in the Battle of Hogwarts. They also have a child named Roxanne Weasley, their second child.
2. Draco Malfoy, long-time rival of Harry Potter, married Astoria Greengrass some time after the Second Wizarding War. Astoria is the younger sister of Daphne Greengrass, who is in Harry and Draco's year, and the pair together produce one son and heir, Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. Which of these nicknames does Scorpius not refer to himself as in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'?

Answer: Scorpius the Fearless

Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, Slytherin student and best friend of Albus Severus Potter, suffers a hard time during school due to derogatory comments about his parentage - many believe he is the spawn of Lord Voldemort. He calls himself Malfoy the Unanxious and Scorpius the Dreadless to show that the bullies aren't getting to him.

In one timeline, Scorpius is called Scorpion King by classmates and Rose Granger-Weasley and later refers to him by that name.
3. In 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks procreate to produce Edward "Teddy" Remus Lupin. Unknown to them then, in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child", Bellatrix Lestrange and Tom Riddle secretly had a child - Delphini "Delphi" Riddle. What relation to each other are the two orphans?

Answer: First cousins once removed

Teddy Lupin's mother is Nymphadora Tonks, who is Delphi's first cousin as Tonks is Bellatrix's - Delphini's mother's - cousin. Because Teddy is Dora's son, that makes him Delphi's first cousin once removed via association. Scorpius Malfoy is also a first cousin once removed to the pair of them, due to the fact that his father, Draco Malfoy, is Bellatrix's first cousin.
4. In Part II, Act III, there is an alternate timeline happening in which everybody is celebrating a momumental day and memorable person who changed history forever. Which of these people were the students of Hogwarts celebrating?

Answer: Voldemort

They are celebrating Voldemort Day, which a large number of people seem to condone and even celebrate. In this timeline it is to be assumed that the Dark Lord wins the Final Battle and thus conquers Hogwarts. Dolores Umbridge, a professor in this new, dark Hogwarts, is the one to inform Scorpius about what they are celebrating, and appears to be a big sympathiser of the Dark Lord.
5. Amos Diggory, who had no nieces or nephews, nor siblings, was tricked by Delphini into thinking that he had his very own niece - Delphi herself. How did Delphi trick Amos into believing this untruth?

Answer: Confundus Charm

Some time whilst Amos Diggory was in St Oswald's Home For Old Witches And Wizards, Delphi performed a strong Confundus Charm on Diggory to make him believe that Delphini was, indeed, his niece. It is possible that she followed the charm up with some simple Muggle manipulation, but that is unfounded speculation.
6. After Albus Potter is sorted into Slytherin (unlike all his ancestors, who have been in Gryffindor for centuries) and doesn't show natural aptitude for flying, he is called many derogatory terms and unkind nicknames. Which one of these offensive and inaccurate terms is Albus famously referred to as?

Answer: 'Squib'

Albus Severus is referred to repeatedly as a 'Slytherin squib' due to his lack of talent for flying and many other things that his father was talented at, such as Defence Against The Dark Arts and Charms. Many other cruel terms are used by his classmates towards him, but this is possibly the one that is most prominent throughout the book. Eventually, Albus proves how powerful he really is, after the debacles with the Time-Turner.
7. William "Bill" Weasley marries Fleur Delacour in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. They have three children: Victoire, Dominique and Louis. Which of these children is in a relationship with Teddy Lupin in 'The Cursed Child'?

Answer: Victoire

Victoire Weasley can be seen kissing Teddy Lupin on September 1st, 2017 when she goes to Hogwarts, leaving her now-graduated boyfriend behind. They are also reported to have been engaged in liplock many times during the Quidditch World Cup of 2014, so much so that they had their own article in the 'Daily Prophet'.
8. Rose Granger-Weasley, like her father, Ronald Weasley, had an aptitude for flying and was put on the Gryffindor Quidditch team on her second year. Which position did she play?

Answer: Chaser

Rose played Chaser on the Gryffindor Quidditch team as she showed a natural strength for flying, a skill that was proven when in her first flying lesson, the broom obeyed her immediately. Minerva McGonagall (Headmistress) described Rose as being "Gryffindor's superb new Chaser" when her appointment was announced in front of the school.
9. Delphini, the secret child of Bellatrix Lestrange and Lord Voldemort, is shown to have a tattoo of a rare magical creature on her back. Which creature is this?

Answer: An augurey

Delphi has a black tattoo of an augurey on her back because when she was younger and growing up with Euphemia Rowle, her guardian had an augurey as a pet who her foster parent cried over because allegedly, Delphi would "meet a sticky end". This prophecy happened to be fulfilled, as Delphi was thrown into Azkaban after her crimes against humanity.
10. In the holidays, Harry Potter gives each of his three children a memento of his previous life (except Lily). He gives Albus Severus the blanket he was left with at the Dursleys, and Lily Luna gets a fairy wand that she can play with. What does he give James Sirius?

Answer: His invisibility cloak

James Sirius receives an Invisibility Cloak, which has previously been in the possession of Albus Dumbledore, James Potter I and Harry Potter - his father. Albus Severus is jealous of this, wondering why James S. got such an amazing gift whilst he was left with a flimsy blanket.
