Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Guardian of the Temple of Urgathoa.

Answer: Lady Andaisin

Lady Andaisin isn't alluded to much before she's encountered in the Temple hiding beneath the hospice in 'Seven Days to the Grave', but her influence is felt for most of the chapter. It's she who's supporting and proliferating the spread of Bloodveil in support of her god, and it's not until she's defeated (and she transforms into a Daughter of Urgathoa that must also be defeated) that Korvosa can start to right itself again after the plague.

A scythe-wielder, she's likely one of the first bosses of the game to pose any severe threat in the way of combat.
2. Also known as Glorio Arkona.

Answer: Bahor

Bahor is a Rakshasa, a being that is able to transform from a feline form into a human form at will. He and his sister, Vimanda, have spent years cultivating their personas as the Arkonas, a wealthy line of aristocrats residing in Old Korvosa. In the game's third chapter, when it becomes apparent that they're harbouring the old Seneschal, their secret comes to light.

While Bahor is in the Palace proper, his sister, Vimanda (who plays the role of Melyia Arkona) is in the Vivified Labyrinth below.

It should also become clear that both of them don't have a great relationship, and that can be used against them.
3. Black dragon ridden by Sabina Merrin.

Answer: Zarmangarof

This adult black dragon is seen in the campaign's final chapter, 'Crown of Fangs', and its appearance prompts a rather interesting grey area in terms of good vs. evil. Zarmangarof clearly serves Queen Ileosa, but her right-hand woman and the leader of the Grey Maidens, Sabina Merrin, realizes by this point that things have gone too far.

While she rides Zarmangarof in battle, her allegiance can easily be swayed by this point, and she can fight alongside the party to bring down the dragon and, inevitably, the Queen herself.

They can be found guarding Castle Korvosa.
4. Wearer of Kazavon's Crown of Fangs.

Answer: Queen Ileosa

Queen Ileosa is the final boss of "Curse of the Crimson Throne" and from the very beginning she ends up being a very important figure in the players' lives, making herself a familiar face after the very first minor scuffle in Korvosa. As the story develops, however, she becomes more antagonistic as her stranglehold on the city becomes much more apparent.

She's finally fought outside of Korvosa in a Thassilonian ruin known as The Sunken Queen. She strives for immortality there, and with the Crown of Fangs in her possession, she seems likely to achieve it.

In battle, she uses her charisma as a bard to keep enemies off-kilter, and with Kazavon's relic in her grips, she's weak to Serithial, a weapon found in Castle Scarwall.
5. Chelaxian, and secret member of the Red Mantis.

Answer: Dr. Davaulus

Dr. Davaulus is a deceiving character. Brought in, allegedly, at the behest of the Queen in the campaign's second chapter, he seems to be the ideal person to attend to the sick during the outbreak of Bloodveil since he is the head of the Queen's Physicians, a literal group of Plaguebringers.

In reality, he works for the shady Red Mantis assassins, and before the heroes infiltrate the Temple of Urgathoa beneath the makeshift hospice in Korvosa, they'll likely face off against him in his offices.

In reality, while many would expect him to be a cleric, he's a rogue/bard.
6. The Arkona-bound 'Lady of the Labyrinth'.

Answer: Sivit

Sivit is a positively frightening creature found in the shifting Vivified Labyrinth beneath Palace Arkona in Old Korvosa. Sivit can not leave the Labyrinth, having been bound there by Bahor the Rakshasa, but she can wreak havoc within its rotating confinements, battling in close quarters with terrifying speed and sharpened kukris.

A Darksphinx from one of the levels of Hell, she may be one of the strongest foes you could (or could not) face in 'Escape From Old Korvosa', though once she has you in her sights, escape may no longer be possible.
7. Adult umbral dragon of Castle Scarwall.

Answer: Belshallam

One of the four Spirit Anchors of Scarwall, Belshallam is absolutely a foe that needs to be faced if anyone wants to rid Scarwall of its evil trappings. If a party decides to get into Scarwall by air instead of by more traditional means (ie. the bridge) then a fight with Belshallam likely isn't far in the future. That said, if the traditional route is taken, he'll be in one of the deeper courtyards. Belshallam shares the role of Spirit Anchor with Castothrane in the gatehouse, Nihil in the Lord's Tower, and Zev Ravenka, the demilich, in the shrine.
8. Red Mantis assassin who attacks the Sklar-Quah encampment.

Answer: Cinnabar

Cinnabar ends up on the heroes' trail from the moment they leave Korvosa at the end of 'Escape From Old Korvosa' but never really makes it to assaulting them until the end of the campaign's fourth chapter, 'A History of Ashes', when they complete the quest chain leading them to become friends of all Cinderland Shoanti tribes. Cinnabar will assault the Sklar-Quah camp when the moment is most opportune, likely when its leaders are away for reasons.

The battle against her will likely be from all angles and she'll fight to the death, partly because she actually wants to die.
9. Elite, fire-infused, purple worm...who must eat someone.

Answer: Cindermaw

Cindermaw, a large worm found in the Cinderlands, is the stuff of Shoanti legend, and in the long chain quest the players need to take in 'A History of Ashes', it's featured in a unique way. Part of the plan to learn of the legends of Scarwall involves gaining the respect of the tribes in the Cinderlands, and one way to do this is by reenacting a local legend for the Sklar-Quah.

This, of course, involves being eaten by Cindermaw and escaping its belly, much like their hero Skurak did. Oh, and the event needs to be seen by Truthspeaker Akram, otherwise, how will anyone know the truth?
10. Leader of orphan pickpocket group.

Answer: Gaedren Lamm

The very first foe faced in the campaign, Gaedren Lamm is likely the reason all player characters band together during "Curse of the Crimson Throne". Leader of a group of orphans known as Lamm's Lambs and hiding in an old fishery in Korvosa, Lamm needs to be defeated or subdued in some way not only as an act of vengeance against a cruel man, but to locate a missing deck of Harrow Cards belonging to a local woman named Zellara. Oh yeah, and her decapitated head is there too, certainly complicating things.
