Answer: Renascent

The word 'Renaissance' also has s similar word origin, literally meaning 'rebirth'! The term 'renascent' is derived from the French, but originally of Latin origin.

Answer: Recherche

From the old French "rechercher", to research. The word can also mean 'exquisite' and 'overrefined'. Quite a useful word indeed then!
