Adam meets Dr Philip Wang in a bar. Dr Wang accidentally leaves some documents behind when he leaves. As a good citizen, Adam arranges to visit Dr Wang at his apartment at just the wrong time.
2. How much was the reward offered for information leading to the Adam's capture?

Answer: GBP 100,000

Dr Philip Wang was employed by Calenture-Deutz, a pharmaceutical company. Their board voted to offer a reward of one hundred thousand pounds for information leading to Adam's arrest, although one of the directors felt that offering a reward was inappropriate.
3. Rita Nashe works for MSU in Wapping. What does MSU stand for?

Answer: Marine Support Unit

At the start of the book, Rita is a policewoman and she investigates a complaint from the flat below Dr Wang's. Along with her partner, Vikram, she discovers Dr Wang's body. The Marine Support Unit's role is to patrol the River Thames.
