Shara's ocean to the east is Seanchan's to the west. I do not know where the name comes from.

Answer: True

Shara dwarves the Aiel Waste and also dwarves what we consider the main whole of the world.

Answer: The Cliffs of Dawn

Borders on the Aiel Waste. Not quite as large as the Spine of the World, though.

4. How many port cities does Shara have for foreign traders?

Answer: 5

They are all in southern Shara. None at all are located on the eastern seaboard. All the cities have high walls around them.

5. True or false: Shara practices slavery.

Answer: True

The only nation on the Continent to do so. The Aiel do not practice outright slavery, nor do any of the nations to the west.

6. Aes Sedai in the land of Shara go by the name of what?

Answer: Ayyad

Same name for both Male and Female. The men are also mad over in Shara too.

7. The "ruler" of Shara goes by what?

Answer: Sh'boan or Sh'botay

The Ayyad are the Aes Sedai, and one account claims THEY are the ones who actually rule Shara. The Sh'boan and Sh'botay each are "removed" every seven years. Then their mate replaces them for seven years and the cycle goes on and on.

8. Sharan are known to be what?

Answer: Mountebanks

Answer: True

The male Ayyad aren't taught much at all. They're kinda used just for breeding purposes- because of the taint and all.

Jain also claimed passage into the Blight. Farstrider was last seen in the Blight. "The Travels of Jain Farstrider" is a very famous book.
