Jimkin Bearhugger owns a distillery in Ankh-Morpork producing fine whiskey, including "Old Selected Dragons Blood Whiskey" which, on the bottle, says "every bottle matured for up to 7 minutes".

2. Who is Malvolio Bent?

Answer: Chief cashier at the Royal Bank of Ankh-Morpork

Malvolio Bent arrived in Ankh-Morpork as a child and went from messenger boy at 13 to chief cashier 20 years later.

3. Who is Downspout?

Answer: Constable in the City Watch

Downspout is a constable in the City Watch, and a Gargoyle; he's not good at chases, but a good officer on a stake out.

They all live under Misbegot Bridge, sometimes joined by Gaspode the talking dog. Nobody listens to Gaspode, though, because everybody knows dogs can't talk.

The regular clientele of Biers are the Undead; these include Werewolves, Banshees, Bogeymen, and Ghouls. Igor is the barman, though he is not an Igor, it is his real name. Never ask him for a "Bloody Mary" unless you are really sure it is what you want.

Mr. Slant is one of the founders of Morecombe, Slant, and Honeyplace (Solicitors). While Mr. Slant is a zombie, both Mr. Morecombe and Honeyplace are vampires. Slant was decapitated during the reign of Lord Snapcase, but, since he defended himself, he refuses to pass on until his descendants pay the legal fees.

Answer: The Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse

Ronald Soak was the fifth horseman of the Apocalypse, "Kaos", but because of artistic disagreements, he left the group before they became famous.

Answer: Elm Street

Reg lives (not sure if that's the right word) at Mrs Cake's house in Elm Street. he has a pallid skin and wears a "Glad To Be Grey" badge. It is said that his clothes smell like someone has not only died in them but is also still wearing them, which is, of course, true.

9. At present (in this book) the patrician of Ankh-morpork is Havelock Vetinari, but whom did he replace?

Answer: Lord Snapcase

The downfall of Lord Snapcase (known as Mad Lord Snapcase) is mentioned in the book "Interesting Times". He was toppled during a rebellion and hung by his figgins (don't ask). Vetinari then took over, a great believer in democracy (as in, one man, one vote, and he is that man).

10. The Broken/Mended Drum is possibly the most famous drinking house on Discworld, but on which street in Ankh-Morpork, is it located?

Answer: Filigree Street

It was called the "Broken Drum" up until it caught fire after Twoflower (Ankh-Morporks' first tourist) introduced the idea of inn-sewer-ants, in which people paid money against the odds of a disaster happening. The motto of the inn was originally "You can't beat it".

The inn was rebuilt and re-named "The Mended Drum"; then the motto became "You can get beaten". It is said of the Drum, that if you sit there long enough every major hero on Discworld will steal your horse.
