Lando Calrissian's story starts off on Nar Shaddaa where he learned to play sabacc and won enough money to fly away from the moon. He then went to Bespin and won the city as well as the Falcon. Because he didn't know how, Han Solo taught him how to fly a starship and eventually won the Falcon from Lando just when he was getting the hang of it.

Han Solo is a Corellian who left the Imperial Academy to become a freelance smuggler and soon ended up freeing Chewbacca from a bunch of Trandoshan slavers. The Wookiee became Han's best friend and the pair had numerous adventures together. On one particular run, Han was jumped by an Imperial patrol and had to dump a large load of Jabba the Hutt's spice.

He needed to pay back the gangster but didn't have the credits, so when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker met him in a Tatooine bar and offered a suitable amount he jumped for it.

Instead of finding Alderaan he found a Death Star and was pulled aboard. When he helped save princess Leia and then later helped Luke destroy the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin he became fully involved in the Rebel Alliance, which later became known as the New Republic.

In the question I was referring to the point in "The Return of the Jedi" when Yoda confirms that Darth Vader was Luke's father. After serving the Jedi on Coruscant, Yoda headed to the planet of Dagobah to escape the purge. Yoda died at the age of eight-hundred-ninety-eight (according to my calculations).

Luke Skywalker left Tatooine for Alderaan when his home, uncle and aunt were burned. He helped destroy the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin and fought in Battle of Hoth as Rogue Leader. He then brought Anakin back to the light side on the second Death Star just before Wedge and Lando destroyed the main reactor.

The good man Anakin Skywalker barely remained in existence when Darth Vader rose to power. Vader was a cruel Imperial commander and used the Force to 'correct' his officers when they stepped out of line. Darth Vader was eventually destroyed when Anakin's son, Luke Skywalker, helped bring him back to the light side of the Force. Anakin killed the Emperor but only lasted a few minutes after, just enough time to see his son's face with his own eyes. Anakin was burned on the Forest Moon of Endor.

Chewbacca was freed from Trendosian slavers by Han Solo and because of his Wookiee life debt, stayed with him for many years after. He stayed with Han no matter where the young smuggler went; whether it be the Falcon, a Death Star, or a forest moon, Chewie stayed with him. Only when Han ordered him to protect the princess did he leave Han's side but soon returned to his rightful post after Han's recovery on Tatooine.

Leia Organa, at eighteen, was the youngest person ever to join the Imperial Senate. While working for the Emperor she developed a hatred for Palpatine and eventually became secretly involved with the Rebel Alliance. Only when she gave Grand Moff Tarkin the location of the original Rebel base was her involvement confirmed.

After her rescue from the Death Star, Leia fought in numerous battles for the Rebel Alliance which later became known as the New Republic.

Wedge was a Corellian that joined the Rebel Alliance Air/Space Force. Wedge was Rogue three in the Battle of Hoth but joined Red Squadron again after Rogue Squadron was disassembled. Wedge later recreated Rogue Squadron approximately two years after the Battle of Endor. Wedge then became known as Rogue 1 or Rogue Leader.

Answer: Jabba

Jabba the Hutt was a crime lord based on Tatooine. Jabba fed most of his untrustworthy or incompetent henchmen to whichever creature he had under his audience chamber, such as his pet Rancor or Caridian Arachnids, and then got a replacement through either money or force. Jabba was killed by Princess Leia in the Tatooine skirmish during the retrieval of Han Solo, four years after the Battle of Yavin.

Answer: Emperor Palpatine

Palpatine was originally the senator of Naboo and then succeeded Valorum in a vote-of-no-confidence issued by Queen Amidala. Palpatine acquired an army of the Republic when Representative Jar Jar Binks gave him emergency powers. Using this army of clones, he ensured order and loyalty using sheer force.

He issued what he called the 'New Order' and became Emperor. He was killed in the Battle of Endor by Anakin Skywalker by falling into the main reactor of the Second Death Star.
