Jackie annoyed Marcus with her obvious lack of interest in his charm. She was pre-occupied with thoughts of the Knicks/Bulls basketball game, and asked to finish her dinner in front of the TV. It was Angela who helped Marcus with dinner dishes later in the movie.

Despite his tried and true methods, Jackie was not falling for Marcus' charms. The fact was that Jackie was a female Marcus, and could not be played, no matter how many games he'd played in the past.
