11. Who is Yente?

Answer: The matchmaker

The three eldest daughters, Tzeitel, Hodel, and Chava, sing about their desire for the matchmaker to find them good husbands... and then soon change their minds when they realize that they could also be paired with an undesirable man.
12. Why would it be unusual for Tevye to be Lazar Wolf's father-in-law?

18. Finish the line to this song: "At three I started Hebrew school. At ten I learned a trade. I hear they picked a bride for me, I hope she's..."

Answer: Pretty

A young boy looks out of the school house and spies a young girl leaning against a post staring sweetly at him, presumably his future bride.
19. What culture changing event took place at Motel and Tzeitel's wedding (sparked by Perchik).

Answer: Men and women danced together

It was such a new and radical thing to have men and women dancing with each other. The rabbi suitably compromised by holding onto a scarf to dance with Hodel (without touching her).
20. How many days are the villagers given to sell their belongings and leave town?

Answer: three

In a scene all too familiar to Jewish villages across Russia (and the world for that matter), the town was required to leave their home.
