1. "We all go a little mad sometimes."

Answer: Psycho

This is said by Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) to Marion Crane (Janet Leigh). Janet later suggested her daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, for the lead role in another famous horror flick, "Halloween".

2. "Once the door is locked, there is no way out. The windows have bars a jail would be proud of, and the only door to the outside locks like a vault."

Answer: House on Haunted Hill

"House on Haunted Hill" was released in 1958 and starred the legendary Vincent Price. Frederick Loren (Price) says this line as he is welcoming his guests to the house.

3. "You get a letter? I got run over, Helen gets her hair chopped off, Julie gets a dead body in her trunk, and you get a letter? Oh, that's balanced!"

Answer: I Know What You Did Last Summer

This line is said by Barry (Ryan Phillipe) to Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.) in this 1997 teen horror flick. The movie was followed by a sequel "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" in 1998.

4. "Eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs on your dinosaur tour, right?"

Answer: Jurassic Park

"Jurassic Park" was a huge hit in 1993 for director Steven Spielberg and starred the likes of Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Richard Attenborough. This comedic line is said by Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) near the beginning of the movie.

5. "It was the boogeyman!"

Answer: Halloween

One of my favourites, "Halloween" stars 'scream queen' Jamie Lee Curtis as the babysitter Laurie Strode, who is attempting to save herself from the psychotic murderer, Michael Myers. We find out in the later "Halloween" movies that Michael is Laurie's brother.

6. "I'm the ghost with the most, babe."

Answer: Beetlejuice

This comedy-horror stars the fantastic Michael Keaton as the bio-exorcist, Betelguise. This line is said by Beetlejuice to Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder.

7. "You're telling me I should send my child to a witch doctor?"

Answer: The Exorcist

"The Exorcist" is based on an actual possession, which supposedly took place in the town of Mount Ranier, Maryland. This line is said by Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn) to a doctor who is trying to find out what is wrong with her daughter, Regan (Linda Blair).

8. "We are the weirdos, mister."

Answer: The Craft

This line is said by Nancy to a bus driver, just after he warns the girls to watch out for weirdos. Nancy was played by Fairuza Balk, who also starred as Dorothy in "Return to Oz".

9. "I tell you, we haven't begun to discover what science can do to the mind and body of man!"

Answer: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

This line is said by Dr. Jekyll. "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" was released in 1920 and starred John Barrymore as the title characters. There have been other versions of the classic "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", such as the one made in 1932, starring Frederic March, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of the title roles.

10. "Here's Johnny!"

Answer: The Shining

"The Shining", released in 1980, starred the fantastic Jack Nicholson as the lead character, Jack Torrance. This is the most famous line in the movie and is said by Jack just as he's on the verve of insanity, and just before he attempts to murder his family.
