Question 1 of 10
1. (1983) My name was once Anakin, but I have not used it in many years. I am powerful in the dark side of the force, and rule the universe as the right hand of my master, the Emperor. When my master asked me to bring him my son I obeyed, but when he tried to kill my son, I saw the error of my ways. I saved my son and destroyed my master, proving that there was some trace of humanity left in me. Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. (1993) My name is Oskar, and while I was never a good man, I never thought of myself as that bad either. I was a bit of a womanizer, and I did believe that I could exploit the cheap labour available in the Kracow Ghetto to make me a rich man. However, when I saw the way that those poor people were being treated, I became disgusted with my own selfishness. Making money was no longer a priority for me, instead I dedicated myself to saving as many lives as I possibly could. Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. (2004) I was hired by the King to dispose of the ogre who had married his daughter. When I met up with the ogre, I was taken with his sincerity, and saw the error of my ways. Instead of killing him, I became his faithful companion, sworn to help him regain his lady love. The fact that my presence irritated the donkey was payment enough for me.

Answer: (Two Words - a word and a number)
Question 4 of 10
4. (2000) I'm green and I'm mean and I hate the Whos. In fact the only thing I hate more than the Whos is Christmas, so when that meddling little girl asked me to be Holiday Cheer-meister, I thought she had lost her mind. When they were all sleeping, I crept into their homes and stole their Christmas away. But the next morning, when I heard them singing instead of crying, I realized what the true meaning of Christmas really was. I guess that little girl wasn't so wrong about me after all. Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. (1997) My name is Martin Blank and I am a professional hit man. Normally I can perform my duties without any qualms, but lately I've been developing a conscience which is really getting in the way. My latest job puts me back in my home town on the same weekend as my high school's 10th reunion, which adds a lot more confusion to the mess. When it turns out that it's my ex-girlfriend's father I'm supposed to kill, I realize that it's time to get out of the business. Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. (1991) My name is never revealed, but in my youth I was a conceited, cold, heartless wretch. Because of my lack of compassion, I am forced to live under a curse, until I can find someone I can love, and who can love me in return...but who can love a beast like me? When I do find a girl whom I love, I realize that her happiness is more important to me than my own, and it is this compassion which brings her back to me and finally breaks the spell. Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. (1988) My name is Charlie Babbitt, and although I hadn't spoken to my father in years, I expected to be left everything when he died, since I was his only son. I was shocked to learn that the bulk of his estate was left to an autistic savant, who I soon learned was a brother I never knew I had. I kidnapped him, intending to use him as leverage to get my share of the estate, but as we made our way across country, I soon discovered that having him as a brother meant much more to me than getting the money. Name the movie.

Answer: (Two Words)
Question 8 of 10
8. (1997) My name is Melvin Udall, and I am a very successful writer. I am also an obsessive who has a hard time getting along with anyone else. When my next-door neighbour is badly beaten and impoverished by his medical bills, I could really care less. However I pretend to be concerned, in order to impress the one woman I've ever cared about. Before I know it, I actually do start caring about what happens to this guy, and I find myself a much better person for the experience. Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. (1997) My name is Fletcher Reede, and I am a lawyer...the kind of lawyer people make bad jokes about. After I let my son down once too often, the wish he makes on his birthday candles is granted, and I find myself unable to tell a single lie for 24 hours. Now, you can imagine what kind of trouble this gets me into, but before long I find that I quite enjoy the newer, more sincere me.

Answer: (Two Words - one word repeated, there is no punctuation)
Question 10 of 10
10. (2000) My name is Nick Marshall, and I like to think of myself as a man's man, even though some people think of me as sleazy. When a freak accident gives me the ability to read women's minds, I have absolutely no compunction about using that ability to advance my own interests, and get back at the woman who got the promotion that should have come to me. However I soon find that not only am I genuinely in love with this woman, but I've also become more compassionate towards people in general, especially women. Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. (1983) My name was once Anakin, but I have not used it in many years. I am powerful in the dark side of the force, and rule the universe as the right hand of my master, the Emperor. When my master asked me to bring him my son I obeyed, but when he tried to kill my son, I saw the error of my ways. Answer: Star Wars: Episode VI, Return of the Jedi

This (chronologically) final episode of the "Star Wars" saga has young Luke Skywalker helping his father, Darth Vader, reconnect with the good man he once was. Vader's shining moment, when he destroys the Emperor at the cost of his own life, is the quintessential redeeming moment for bad boys everywhere.
Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, and James Earl Jones starred in this amazing move, under Richard Marquand's direction.

Answer: Schindler's List

At great personal risk, businessman Oskar Schindler saved over 1100 Jews from being shipped to concentration camps, and in doing so, very probably saved their lives. Every penny he owned was poured into this effort, and he died a poor man.
Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, and Ralph Fiennes starred in this amazingly powerful movie, under Steven Spielberg's direction.

Answer: Shrek 2

Antonio Banderas is absolutely hysterical as the cute, yet lethal Puss 'N Boots. In "Shrek 2", we find Shrek and Fiona travelling to Fiona's home kingdom of Far, Far Away in order to meet her parents, where things get off to a bad start. Not only is the King upset with the thought of his daughter being married to an ogre, but it seems that he has promised Fairy Godmother that Fiona would marry her son, Prince Charming. Andrew Adamson and Kelly Asbury directed this very funny movie that also starred the voice talents of Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Rupert Everett and Jennifer Saunders.

Answer: How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Jim Carrey was at his manic best in this delightful film, directed by Ron Howard, and based on a story by Dr. Suess. Taylor Momsen, Jeffrey Tambor and Christine Baranski also starred.

Answer: Grosse Pointe Blank

John Cusack's angst as he struggles with his profession and his long lost love is absolutely delightful. Compound these problems with the Federal Agents hanging around waiting to bust him, the other hit men trying to complete the hit he can't bring himself to do, and Dan Aykroyd's character hounding him to join an Assassin's Union, and you have one very funny movie.
Minnie Driver, Alan Arkin and Hank Azaria also star, under George Armitage's direction.

Answer: Beauty and the Beast

Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise directed this Disney classic that featured the voice talents of Bobby Benson, Angela Lansbury, Paige O'Hara, Jerry Orbach and David Ogden Stiers.

Answer: Rain Man

Dustin Hoffman scooped an Oscar for his amazing portrayal of Raymond Babbitt, opposite Tom Cruise's angry young man. The chemistry between the two makes the movie worth watching alone, never mind the fantastic plot line.

Answer: As Good As It Gets

Jack Nicholson's performance as an obnoxious insult artist, delivering some pretty politically incorrect lines is hysterical. He and Helen Hunt both took home Oscars for this excellent movie, that was directed by James L. Brooks. Greg Kinnear and Cuba Gooding Jr. also starred.

Answer: Liar Liar

Although not a huge Jim Carrey fan, I did get a chuckle out of people's reactions when faced with his more than brutal honesty. Maura Tierney, Justin Cooper and Carey Elwes also starred under Tom Shadyac's direction.

Answer: What Women Want

Mel Gibson is equally believable as both the chauvinistic swine, and the reformed man. He does a little dance routine to a Frank Sinatra song that, in and of itself, makes the movie worth watching. Helen Hunt, Marisa Tomei, and Alan Alda also star under Nancy Meyers direction. Watch for Bette Midler in a very amusing cameo.
