After Commissioner Hurst announces this, he announces Lassard must retire, due to the fact that he has reached the State's mandatory retirement age. This award is given out at the National Police Officer's Convention.

2. Proctor attempts to phone the airport to make flight reservations for him and Harris, but instead he phones Lassard's office. Which officer picks up the phone?

Answer: Jones

Jones, the character who makes noises with his mouth, books Harris and Proctor on a private plane, loaded with animals.

3. Three thieves steal priceless diamonds from a museum near the police academy and take them to Miami Beach to give to their boss. What is the boss' name?

Answer: Manny

Manny is their boss. He gives them twenty four hours to recover the lost diamonds. Once he gets the diamonds, his plan is to leave town on his houseboat.

They also gift wrap it. When Lassard and the crooks switch bags, Lassard believes the camera is a gift from his fellow officers.

Harris has the thieves held at gunpoint and tells Proctor to arrest them, but as he climbs off the ledge they were standidng on, he pulls Harris off as well.

Nick Lassard (Eric's nephew) tells Eric that this was a real kidnapping (see Interesting Info for question 7) so Lassard beats up the kidnapper and grabs the diamonds. The rest of the cops move and help to make the arrest.
