Bridal Creek is at the end of the river where Gail, Tom, and Rourke are meeting Gail's parents and her daughter, Willa.

2. What happens when Wade and Terry accidentally take the wrong side of the river?

Answer: Their raft turns over.

Gail directs Wade and Terry to go down the right side of the river where the water is calm. But they miss the turn and start down a rapid stretch of water where their raft gets overturned by the high waters.

After Tom tries to get the gun, he accidentally wakes Terry up, who arouses Wade. Tom runs up the hill, and after many attempted shots, he hears a loud splash and suspects that he shot Tom.

While Wade is throwing his used cartridges into the water, Gail unties the oar and swings it at Wade and Terry, who are knocked overboard. The plan fails when Wade shows her the two unused cartridges.

He begs her for forgiveness and she puts it down. But Wade tells Terry to kill Tom, and she shot, sending Wade sailing down the Gonquin.
