A twist of fate gives Lucy (Sandra Bullock), a transit ticket booth worker a chance to save a businessman she is secretly in love with; however, it also places him in a coma. Things get out of hand when she accidentally passes herself off as his fianc�e. Lucy is warmly welcomed by everyone in Peter Callaghan's (Peter Gallagher) family except for his brother, Jack.

This line can be heard when Lucy can't sleep and decides to visit Peter at the hospital.
