Answer: Martina McBride

Dale Earnhardt, Sr. asked McBride for her autograph after her national anthem performance at Talladega 2000, placing it in his race car. He attributed this good luck token to his win.
2. 1994: "That's My Baby" ("See that boy walking down the street, thinks he's tough but he smiles so sweet")?

Answer: Lari White

In order to recall this 1994 number ten song, you may need to take a listen. In 1988 White took first prize on The Nashville Network's "You Can Be A Star". She appeared in the 2000 film "Cast Away" with Tom Hanks and debuted on Broadway as June Carter Cash in "Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash".
3. 1999: "Here Comes My Baby" ("In the midnight, moonlight hour, he's walking along that lonely mile")?

Answer: The Mavericks

From 1967, written and recorded by Cat Stevens. Three of The Mavericks' singles hit the top ten: "What a Crying Shame", "O What a Thrill" and "Here Comes the Rain". You may also remember "There Goes My Heart" and "All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down", all from the mid-1990s.

Yearwood received a Grammy for her recording of "How Do I Live", which was included in the 1997 film, "Con Air". Both Yearwood and LeAnn Rimes released this same song at the same time, May 27, l997.
6. 1993: "Oh Me, Oh My Sweet Baby" ("Oh no one else could take her place in my life")?

Answer: Diamond Rio

A number five song from 1993, first recorded by George Strait in 1989. "Meet in the Middle" their February 1991 debut single, was country music's first vocal group to have their debut single reach the number one spot. The band was awarded Top Vocal Group for the years 1992, '93, '94 and '97 by the Academy of Country Music.
7. 1995: "Who Needs You Baby" ("Who needs the heartache baby, who needs the pain")?

A number two song for Walker from 1995. Following his 1996 diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, Walker began the Band Against MS Foundation raising more than five million dollars to aid fellow sufferers, receiving a Humanitarian Award in 2008. From 2003, Shelton's second number one song following 2001s "Austin", which held the position for five weeks. Shelton's "Some Beach" from 2004, his third number one maintaining the top slot for four weeks.
9. 1992: "Rock My Baby" ("Just thinkin' bout her is making me crazy")?

Answer: Shenandoah

From 1992, Shenandoah achieved a number two spot with "Rock My Baby", surely a fun, upbeat tune. In 1995, they were awarded a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration for "Somewhere In The Vicinity Of The Heart", a duet single with Alison Krauss.
10. 2006: "You'll Always Be My Baby" ("In the sunlight or the rain, brightest nights or darkest days")?

Answer: Sara Evans

Evans' father Jack, lends his vocals on his daughter's number thirteen song from the year 2006. Evans' first two chart toppers were "No Place That Far" from 1998 and "Born To Fly" from 2000. A short-lived participant, Evans was the first country music artist to appear on "Dancing With The Stars".
