Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Let's get the ball rollin': Which Creed song is this? "She told me where I'm going, and I'm far away from home..."

Answer: Beautiful

Beautiful is empty... Apparently, this song is about the cold nature that accompanies beauty and the ones harmed by it. These kind of people often tend to be shallow, leaving love in the winter many times in their lives.

All songs are from "Human Clay".
2. What'cha singing, Creed fan? "Up high, I feel like I'm alive for the very first time..."

Answer: Higher

There's only one person that can do that. If you're anywhere near religious, you'll know who I mean. It speaks of a dream where God shall once again talk directly to his peoples.

"One" is on the first Cd, and the others are on the second.
3. Tell me if you can guess this one, Mr. 'Stapp': "I know I can't hold the hate inside my mind..."

Answer: What If?

This is somewhat resemblant to Shakespeare's "MacBeth". Wicked people are sooner or later bound to get caught and punished for their sins... all it takes is one person to stand up and change that.

"Hide" is on the third album, "Ode" is on the first, and the other two are on the second.
4. This is from Creed's first album: "Sexuality is democracy..."

Answer: In America

How can we live in a place that gives us so many freedoms, but still tells us what to do? This song is about the double-standards of our nation.

By the way, all answer choices are from their first album.
5. OK, lesser-known Creed: Which one is this? "In life there are many quotients and I hope I find the mean..."

Answer: Wash Away Those Years

One must embrace their past to move on to the future. In order to step forward, one must be comfortable with the path behind them.

The correct answer is on the second CD. As for the others, "Who's Got My Back?" and "Weathered" are on the third album. "My Own Prison" is the title track of their first album with the same name.
6. I forget this song by Creed... what was its name again? "In a state of self-denial, is it worthwhile?"

Answer: Pity for a Dime

This one speaks of the repetitiveness of daily life, seeing people making the same mistakes over and over without haste. Maybe, someday.. we'll learn from them.

"Pity for a Dime" is on the first CD, "Wrong Way" on the second, "My Sacrifice" on the third, and Six Feet from the Edge is a common misnomer for "One Last Breath" of the third album. If you guessed that one, you're obviously not a fan of Creed.
7. This song is good, but it puts me to sleep... ummm... Mark Tremonti does the guitars... "I know there's one thing that you showed me"

Answer: Lullaby

The title of this song is literally the idea and rhythm of the song. As it says, it is a song written to soothe and ease pain and sorrow with love and tenderness. It is also one of their easiest songs to remember.

All answers are on "Weathered".
8. This is the only Creed song I've thought of as a 'love' song... "I've learned the world is bigger than me, you're my daily dose of reality..."

Answer: Stand Here With Me

This is somewhat of a love song. It speaks of the effect that one person can have in your life, and how much one person can change the world for another.

"Sister" is on the first album, and "Weathered" is the title track on the 3rd album.
9. Now realize... which Creed song is this? "Bottled up and empty, holding back..."

Answer: Sister

This one talks of the pain felt by a younger sibling. Usually, the youth is put into so much pressure... but often receives little or no gratifications for its great deeds.

"Young Grow Old" is on WWF: Forceable Entry, "Freedom Fighter" is on the third CD, and the others are on the first CD.
10. Here's a fun one. This song was never released on any Creed CD *Ooh, Nas-tay, bro!* . It can only be found on a certain other album. Which song has these lyrics? "Trading places in the circle.. turn the glass, spill the sand..."

Answer: Young Grow Old

This song speaks about the fight between a childhood dream and an adult reality (guess who wins!) Hope you liked my quiz!

These songs were never released on any of their CD's, with the exception of "Young Grow Old" on the WWE album. Apparently, these songs never were too popular, because few people have heard them. Yes, these are all real songs.

And one last final note: Creed's "Greatest Hits" album's tracks are (US Version):

from first album: One, What's This Life For?, My Own Prison, Torn
from second album: What If?, Are You Ready?, Higher, With Arms Wide Open
from third album: Bullets, One Last Breath, My Sacrifice, Weathered, Don't Stop Dancing
