The band Culture Club became the most successful band of the 1980s. "Karma Chameleon" was their second UK hit and went to number one in 17 different countries.
2. Which one of the groups below DID NOT appear on the 1984 charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas"?

Answer: Human League

The band members of "Human League", were telephoned and asked would they like to write a song with Sir Bob Geldof. They didn't really understand the question and rejected the offer. A day later when they saw the event unfolding on British television they were gutted.

Answer: Never Gonna Give You Up

Rick Astley's first number one, "Never Gonna Give You Up", topped the British charts in 1987.
