Mariah is my favorite singer! "Make It Happen" is a song from Mariah's second album, "Emotions". This song is biographical and tells of Mariah's struggles to fulfill her dream of becoming a singer. If you are ever struggling to reach a goal, listen to this song, it is very inspirational!

These are my favorite verses from Creed's "Higher". This song is also very inspirational.

Ever since a was a little girl I have loved this song. It has such an upbeat feel and tempo, and plus, Counting Crows is my favorite band. This song is about longing for fame and wanting to be a star. This song skyrocketed the Counting Crows to superstardom. Later lead singer Adam Duritz said that he didn't relate to the song the same way anymore, because fame didn't turn out the way he thought it would be.

What a haunting song! It's one of my all time favorites! It's from the Counting Crows's "Recovering the Satellites" CD, which was released in 1996. The video features Courtney Cox, Adam Duritz's girlfriend at the time.

I love this song because it talks about different locations in the world, and I wish that I could travel the world! The Red Hot Chili Peppers make references to Bombay and Sicily, and they even talk about states in the U.S. such as Alabama, Pennsylvania, and California.
