Answer: Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper was the name adopted by Vincent Damon Furnier from Detroit. His back catalogue is huge and includes such rock classics as "School's Out", "Elected" and "Poison".
2. Next we'll need a guitar man, this one first found fame with Kiss and now plays solo. Who is he?

Answer: Ace Frehley

Ace was the original Kiss "Spaceman" or "Space Ace"; he left in 1986, rejoined in 1996 and left again in 2002. Paul Stanley was always guitarist and frontman with Kiss.
3. Can you put a name to our bass player? My choice is unfortunately deceased. Having been the bass and vocals for Thin Lizzy, he was one of a kind.

Answer: Philip Lynott

Philip Lynott was the bass player with Thin Lizzy. He died in January 1986.
The other bass players mentioned are also all no longer with us; Ronnie Lane was with Faces, Felix Pappalardi was in Mountain and John Entwistle was a member of The Who.

Brian May CBE played in Queen and wrote "We Will Rock You" as heard in sports stadiums the world over. His guitar, the "Red Special", he built himself with a little help from Harold, his father, over 50 years ago.

Kenny Jones replaced the one and only Keith Moon on drums for The Who in 1978. He has also played with The Law with Paul Rodgers and his own Jones Gang.

Rick Wright played keyboards with Pink Floyd from when he helped found the band until his death in 2008. He was a self taught musician much influenced by jazz. Keith Emerson died in 2016.

Dave Grohl the multi instrumentalist who played guitar and sang for The Foo Fighters, played drums for Nirvana and drums for Them Crooked Vultures. Quite a CV. His middle name? Eric!

Answer: Ritchie Blackmore

Ritchie Blackmore was the "Man In Black" with Deep Purple, a band he joined in 1968 after having been one of The Savages with Screaming Lord Sutch. When he left Deep Purple in 1975 he formed Rainbow. Since the Rainbow days he has been more likely to be seen with a lute as a member of Blackmore's Night.
9. Our four piece needs a bass player, this one often seen topless when playing with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Do you know his name?

Answer: Flea

Flea was an Australian born American musician with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In a 2009 "Rolling Stone Magazine" readers poll he was voted second best bass player ever after Number One, John Entwistle of The Who.

Answer: Tommy Aldridge

Tommy Aldridge seems to have played with everybody, complete with his double bass drum setup. Since leaving Black Oak Arkansas and The Pat Travers Band in the USA he relocated to the UK in 1981 where he also played with Gary Moore as well as working with "Hear 'n Aid" a charity set up in 1985 to help starving in Africa.
