1. I Kings: Who succeeded Solomon as King?

Answer: Rehoboam

Solomon had been King for 40 years when he died. Then Rehoboam, his son, became King. This can be found in chapter 11 verse 43.
2. II Kings: How many times did the Shunammite's son sneeze before opening his eyes after being raised from the dead?

Answer: 7

The Shunammite's son went to his father one day saying "My head! My head!" so the father ordered one of his servants to take him to his mother. Later that day he died and his mother asked Elisha to heal him. Elisha prayed for him and he sneezed seven times before opening his eyes. This can be found in chapter 4 verses 18-35.
3. I Chronicles: What are the names of King Saul's sons who died in the same battle as King Saul?

Answer: Jonathan, Abinadab and Malki-Shua

The Philistines pressed hard against Saul and his sons. In the end they killed his sons and wounded Saul, then Saul took his sword and killed himself. This can be found in chapter 10 verses 1-4.
4. II Chronicles: When King Solomon asked for a man skilled to work in gold, silver, bronze and iron to help build the Temple, whom did Hiram, King of Tyre, send?

Answer: Huram-Abi

King Solomon was given instructions to build the temple so he found seventy thousand men as carriers, eighty thousand as stone cutters and thirty-six hundred as foremen over them. Then he sent a letter to King Hiram of Tyre asking for a man skilled to work with gold, silver, bronze and iron, and Hiram sent Huram-Abi. This can be found in chapter 2 verses 1-14.
5. Ezra: Fill in the blank in this quote from the New International Version. "Because the hand of the Lord my God was on me, I took ______ and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me."

Answer: Courage

This is the last sentence in King Artaxerxes' letter to Ezra. This can be found in Chapter 7 verse 28.

Answer: Nisan

It was the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes' reign. Nehemiah went sadly to the king to give him some wine when Artaxerxes noticed his sadness and asked him what was wrong. He sad that the city that his fathers were buried in had been destroyed by fire, and he asked for permission to go and rebuild it. This can be found in chapter 2 verses 1-5.
7. Esther: For how long did Esther have to go through beauty treatments before being brought to the King?

Answer: 12 Months

The King was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other virgins, so he made her queen instead of Vashti. This can be found in Chapter 2 verses 12-18.
8. Job: Three of Job's friend's names are mentioned in the book of Job. What are the names?

Answer: Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar

Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar heard of Job's suffering and went to comfort him. This story can be found in chapter 2 verse 11.
9. Psalms: Fill in the blanks from this quotation. "_____ and _____ were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name, they called on the Lord and he answered them."

Answer: Moses, Aaron

This can be found in chapter 99 verse 6. Psalms has more chapters in it than any other book of the Bible, containing both the longest and shortest chapter (the longest having 176 verses and the shortest having three verses) in the Bible.
