There are fifteen different books. The are, in this order, First Nephi, Second Nephi, Jacob, Enos, Jarom, Omni, Words of Mormon, Mosiah, Alma, Helaman, Third Nephi, Fourth Nephi, Mormon, Ether, and Moroni.
2. Nephi and his brothers were commanded to return to Jerusalem to bring a man and his family into the wilderness with them. What was the man's name?

Answer: Ishmael

1 Nephi 7:2 - "And it came to pass that the Lord commanded [my father] that I, Nephi, and my brethren, should again return unto the land of Jerusalem, and bring down Ishmael and his family into the wilderness."

Laban was the man who had the Plates of Brass (1 Nephi 3:3).

Zoram was Laban's servant, who willingly went into the wilderness with Nephi (1 Nephi 4:35).

Jacob is one of Nephi's younger brothers (1 Nephi 18:7).

There are two kings named Mosiah in The Book of Mormon. The first is referenced in Omni (1:12-23) and is King Benjamin's father (Omni 1:23). The second is who the book of Mosiah is named after and he is the son of King Benjamin (Mosiah 1:2).

Amalickiah is first mentioned in Alma 46:3 and he wanted to be a king over the people (Alma 46:4).
