Newcombe of the Dodgers won the first Cy Young award given out in 1956 for his 27-7 record. He also won the NL MVP in the season for his efforts.

Answer: 5

Young began his career in 1890 with the NL Cleveland Spiders. From there it was the NL St. Louis Perfectos/Cardinals, Boston Americans/Pilgrims of the AL, the Cleveland Indians of the AL, and finally the NL Boston Braves in 1911. Young retired with 511 career wins.
3. Which DiMaggio brother was the oldest?

Answer: Vince

Vince was born on Sep 6, 1912, then came Joe on Nov 25, 1914. The youngest was Dom who played with the Red Sox, and was born on Feb 12, 1917.
