1. What player batted .300, hit 25 home runs, and knocked in 100 RBI's in 11 consecutive seasons?

Answer: Lou Gehrig

Gehrig did this from 1927-1937. In the 20th Century the only person close to this feat was the Babe who did it in 8 consecutive seasons.
2. Who won game 5 and game 6 of the 1965 World Series on just two days rest?

Answer: Sandy Koufax

Koufax did it and added this to his tremendous accomplishments in Major League baseball history. The Dodgers beat Minnesota for the title 4 games to 3.
3. Who was the losing pitcher in the last game ever played at Crosley Field in Cincinnati?

Answer: Juan Marichal

On June 24, 1970, the last game was played at the old Crosley Field in Cincinnati. Relief pitcher Wayne Granger of the Reds was credited with the win over the San Francisco Giants and Juan Marichal 5-4. Johnny Bench and Lee May hit back-to-back home runs in the 8th inning for the win.
4. How many consecutive years did Bobby Richardson win a Gold Glove Award?

Answer: 5

Richardson had a glue-glove from 1961 to 1965 with the Yankees. Bobby Knoop of the Angels broke his streak in 1966.
5. In what year was the Designated Hitter rule adopted by the American League?

Answer: 1972

It was 1972 when it became a part of the rule book. In the 1920s the first idea of the designated hitter was presented to Major League baseball.
