Founded in 1878 as West Bromwich Strollers, West Brom were the champions of England in 1919-20. The name change occurred in 1880, 'Albion' being a former district of West Bromwich.
2. Who started out as St. Domingo's?

Answer: Everton FC

The original name was chosen in 1878, taken from a Methodist Cricket Club of the same name. The name was changed to Everton FC a year later, in 1879, as non-religious people wanted to join in the sport. Everton's original kit was blue and white stripes and they adopted the blue shirts in 1901.
3. Dial Square later became known as whom?

Dial Square was founded in 1886, changed names in 1893 to Woolwich Arsenal, and in 1914 changed again, this time to just Arsenal FC. Arsenal's local rivals are Tottenham Hotspur who play just a few miles away.
