Answer: Roger Peckinpaugh

Peckingpaugh was 23 years old when he took the player-manager position in 1914 with the Yankees, the oyungest for the 20th century. Boudreau was 24 in 1942 when he led Cleveland.
2. Which of these four was the oldest rookie manager?

Answer: Tom Sheehan

Sheehan was 66 years old in 1960 when he took over the helm for the Giants, and became the oldest rookie manager during the 20th century. He led them to a 46-50 record before being replaced by Alvin Dark.
3. Which of these pitchers for the Athletics was the last to win 30 games in a season?

Answer: Lefty Grove

Grove won 31 for the A's in 1931. The last pitcher (during the 20th century) for the A's to win over 25 was Bob Welch in 1990 when he won 27.
4. Of all pitchers who played their entire career in the 20th Century, who is number 4 on the all-time career win list?

Answer: Warren Spahn

Of 20th Century career pitchers, Spahn is number 4 with 363 career wins behind Walter Johnson. Alexander and Mathewson were tied with 373.

It took two of Atlanta's finest pitchers with Larry McWilliams and Gene Garber of the Braves stopping his streak and providing a loss for the Reds.
10. Who was the last player in the 1990s to be solely inducted into the Hall of Fame in that years voting?

Answer: Reggie Jackson

Jackson did a solo in 1993 when he was the only one inducted that year. Reggie probably could not handle sharing the limelight anyway. Morgan and Palmer were inducted together in 1990, also Carew and others were inducted in 1991.
