He has reached it 3 times. The first in was 1980 when he stole 100. Then in 1982 he stole 130 and followed it up in 1983 with 108. There will be no more 100 thefts for this great player. Hugh Duffy is the only player in history to have stole more in a season, with 138 in 1887.
2. Pirate slugger Roberto Clemente hit how many home runs in his career?

Answer: 240

Even though his 18 season career came to a tragic end, he still banged out 240 with the Pirates from 1955 to 1972. He maintained a high career batting average of .317.
3. Pitcher Dennis Boyd obtained the nickname of what?

Answer: Oil Can

Oil Can Boyd played 10 seasons before having to retire. He played 8 of those seasons with the Red Sox contributing to 60 wins. He played from 1982 to 1991.

Answer: 1

He only has one to his credit. He banged this one in 1988 with Oakland playing against the Dodgers, which the Dodgers won 4 games to 1. McGwire played in 3 World Series.

Answer: Sandy Koufax

All these great pitchers have done it but Koufax was the first. He received these awards in 1965 and 1966. Ironically, he retired after the 1966 season with the Dodgers.
