The UAE finished fifth out of the six teams in group B. They scored two points for defeating the Netherlands in the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 1st March.

Answer: Sultan Zarawani

Sultan Zarawani was born in Dubai, the only member of his team to be born in the UAE. He was the first UAE national to play cricket at international level.

This ground is in Pakistan and became the fourteenth test ground in that country. Its capacity is 15,000.

At this time, Dukanwala's 5-29 was the seventh best bowling performance for any team in the World Cup. He became the first bowler from the UAE to take five wickets in a one day international. Salem Raza's 84 was the highest score for the UAE in a one day international and his partnership of 117, for the first wicket with Azhar Saeed was the first partnership of 100 that the UAE had ever had.
