4. When did the Baltimore Orioles make their first World Series appearance?

Answer: 1966

Their first appearance was in 1966 and they made it count, with a 4 game to 0 skunking of the heavily favored Los Angeles Dodgers. This great pitching staff shutout the National League Champions 3 out of the 4 World Series games.
5. Which of the following Orioles set a career team record with 431 home runs?

Answer: Cal Ripken Jr.

6. Who was the first Baltimore Oriole to win 20 games in a season?

Answer: Steve Barber

Barber went 20-13 in 1963, McNally won 22 games against 10 losses in 1968, and it would be the only time in his career that McNally broke the 200 strikeout barrier. Answer: 1969

In this year of the Orioles, they broke the 100-win mark with a record of 109-53, winning the American League pennant, before just over 1 million fans in attendance.
