Answer: One of Sam's old baseball games

Sam Malone was a relief pitcher in the 70s for the Boston Red Sox according to "Cheers". He supposedly was good until he developed a drinking problem.
2. What did Sam say he didn't remember about 1975?

Answer: The summer part

Sam wanted to look up in the baseball almanac what the outcome of the game was. He pitched three innings that day so he figured he was okay.
3. Why was Norm meeting the auditor at Cheers?

Answer: He wanted to meet the auditor on his own turf.

Cliff also suggested to get to the auditor's eye level as well. Norm just wanted to get the audit over with.

Answer: Female

Carla told Norm all he had to do was flirt with her a little. Norm said he hadn't flirted with anyone since Vera.
5. What was the name of the auditor?

Answer: Dot Carrol

Dot was played by Sharon Barr. In a 1987 episode of "Cheers" she played Connie, the woman who bid on Woody in the auction.
6. What happened in the game that Sam pitched, that the guys want to watch?

Answer: Sam gave the Orioles mascot a concussion.

Sam was drunk and thought the mascot was a "giant mutant bird". He threw a fastball and hit the mascot between the eyes.
7. What did the auditor say the penalty for defrauding the United States government was?

Answer: Imprisonment

Norm made up receipts and a diary. Norm didn't like the way the conversation was going.
8. What happened when Sam tried to "fix" the TV so the guys couldn't watch the game?

Answer: He received an electric shock.

After he got shocked he said, "I just remembered I was in the Civil War". He told the guys they couldn't watch the game. They said they'd watch it on the regular screen. Paul had a Watchman so Sam "accidentally" dropped it in a pitcher of beer.
9. Who impersonated Vera?

Answer: Carla

She came up with the idea of Vera bursting in the hotel room where Norm and Dot were. Norm said either way he'd be sleeping on a cot. So Frasier suggested Carla impersonate Vera.
10. Why did Carla tell Norm, "You're gonna fry"?

Answer: She couldn't bring herself to kiss him.

Dot didn't believe Carla was Norm's wife. She said if they didn't share an open-mouthed kiss, she would go through Norm's receipts with a fine tooth comb.
