1. Which actor played The Bandit?

Answer: Brian Bloom

Reynolds played the character in the three theatrically released movies, but not the made for TV versions.

Bloom never had a huge career as a live action actor, but he has more than 130 credits on his resume for voice acting in video games, movies and television. Some of his live action work included roles in the "A-Team" reboot, "Smokin' Aces" and on TV in shows such as "Cold Case" and "Pepper Dennis".

2. Which member of Bandit's family showed up on his doorstep?

Answer: Uncle Cyrus

He claimed to be Bandit's only living relative, though they both knew otherwise. Bandit obviously wanted to get away from his uncle and tried to leave.
Cyrus ended up tagging along on the movie's first adventure.

3. What did Bandit dream about in the opening scenes of the movie?

Answer: The circus

Uncle Cyrus owned a carnival and tried to get Bandit to work for him. He offered $1,000 a week, but admitted he didn't have that much to pay someone. Bandit's dream alluded to the arrival of his uncle.

4. What was the county sheriff's name?

Answer: Buddy Clanton

The deputies had been talking about a career change if the sheriff got re-elected. They then stopped the sheriff from being able to chase Bandit.

Sheriff Justice was not in any of the made for TV movies, but he was the cop chasing the Bandit in the theatrical releases.

Answer: Badges

They were scheduled to be in town the following week and Sheriff Clanton wanted Bandit off the streets before then. The two deputies simply wanted to be on TV.

It was held at 11 a.m. the day after Cyrus died. It was read at the base of the carousel, his favorite piece of carnival equipment. He promised to remember Bandit in his will, so he said "Hello Bandit" before announcing the carnival was to be given to Angel.

Answer: $50,000

Four members of the local mob came out to collect shortly after the reading of the will. Bandit was still on the grounds and told the criminals that he had bought the carnival. That meant he also assumed the debt.

8. The sheriff shut down the carnival at the request of local politicians.

Answer: False

He tried to shut it down after the local gangsters requested it, as he was on the take. However, Bandit simply moved the carnival out of the county where Clanton had control.

9. What happened to Bandit's car at the carnival?

Answer: A bomb was placed under it.

The carnival mechanic, Martin, placed the tiny bomb under the driver's side front quarter panel. Bandit's friend Lynne helped him to repair the car and he then decided not to report it to anyone.

10. At the end of the movie Bandit and Lynn decided to go on tour with the carnival.

Answer: False

Bandit and Lynn had helped best Sheriff Clanton, and beat the loan sharks, at that point they turned control of the carnival back over to Angel. Angel continued to own and tour with the carnival.
