After the smoking remark, Melchett offered Blackadder a potato in a large snuff box... "No thanks, I don't!"

2. What present did Blackadder bring for Nursie after his voyage had finished?

Answer: Beard

If you remember, Redbeard Rum (the captain of the ship Blackadder hired) and Nursie got engaged before the voyage began. After he was attacked by cannibals Blackadder rescued the beard and brought it back for his fianc�e - "I shall wear it always to remind me of him!" Nursie with a beard - very surreal!

3. After Raleigh arrived at court, what did Blackadder and Queenie say it smelled of?

Answer: Fish

Edmund used this (false) accusation to get out of court to arrange his voyage, and when Queenie decided she preferred Blackadder, she said - "You do smell of fish! Pooey!"
