In the future, Wyatt is the tyrant ruler of all evil. Out of concern for his family and his own future, Chris went back in time to when Wyatt was just a baby to see if he could in any way alter the future in order to save Wyatt and hence many more.

Chris needed Leo to cease being the sister's full-time Whitelighter so he himself could assume the position in order to get close enough to them for his plan to work. He achieved this by convincing Leo to become an elder so that the world could be saved from the rule of the Titans.

Later, spider-Chris attacked Leo but even after the spell was lifted, he continued to beat him up because of his hatred and many issues with the future Leo.

It's true that Chris was always a bit paranoid and over dramatic, which was the reason for the sisters' calling him neurotic. Later, when it was revealed that Chris was their nephew, they blamed Piper and her hyper attitude for Chris' turning out to be such a "neurotic little freak."

The Scabbers were capable of spewing acidic bile from their mouths which melted their target on contact. Later, when Phoebe's psychotic high school friend asked for a 'new face', she and Paige gave him Chris' appearance. He only had this face for a few moments however because the Scabbard demons showed up shortly and killed him.

In that way, Phoebe's problem was solved and so was Chris' - the Scabbers stopped coming after him since they thought they killed him.

Shortly after finding out Chris was her son, Piper became concerned about his ignoring her almost completely. Later, Chris reluctantly admitted to his grandfather, Piper's father, that he was ignoring Piper because he didn't want to get too attached since she dies when he is only 14.

Gideon's original intention was to kill Wyatt in order to eliminate a threat to both sides of the magical world - what he called a "sacrifice for the grater good". During his last attempt to kidnap Wyatt, he warned Chris that he would have to make him another "sacrifice" which he did- he stabbed Chris and left him to die while he took Wyatt. Chris later died in Leo's arms, just a while before he was born as Piper's new baby.

In this way Chris gave his life to save his brother but in reality never actually lost it.
