'Daria': 'Pierce Me' Trivia Quiz

Trent calls Daria's house and asks Jake Morgendorfer if he can speak to Jake's daughter. Jake assumes he means Quinn as Daria never gets phone calls from boys and the phone gets passed around the whole family until it is given to Daria, who goes bright red when she realises who it is.

This is because she has a crush on Trent. Trent is calling her to arrange to go shopping for a birthday gift for Jane.

Jane claims that birthdays are manufactured occasions, designed to stimulate the economy. Daria argues that birthdays are the only occasion that haven't been created by greetings card companies. However she agrees that she won't buy Jane a card or present, and Jane replies 'Who said no present?'

Axel has an English accent, although it's not very convincing. He also cannot remember which mineral supplement hew is supposed to recommend people take after having a piercing, telling Daria to take '50 milligrams a day of some metal or other...zinc, aluminum, I forget'.

The tattoo parlour has a special offer on piercings, and Trent convinces Daria a navel ring would look good on her. Daria is very nervous but calms down when Trent holds her hand while it's being done. In fact she is enjoying holding his hand so much she doesn't feel the piercing at all.

Daria shows her pierced belly button to Jane in the school bathroom. She tells Jane that she only got it done so that Trent could use the special offer.

Quinn and Helen are taking part in a mother-daughter fashion show. The other three members of the Fashion Club are taking part too, although Tiffany hires a model to pretend to be her mother so she'll look better than the other girls.
