1. Which volcano does the Doctor and his companion watch explode in season 4?

Answer: Mount Vesuvius

In this episode Donna and the Doctor land in ancient Rome, but don't realize until later that they're in Pompeii-on volcano day. When they realize this the Doctor tries to leave to avoid disrupting a fixed point in time but Donna is determined to save the people.

After finding out that the activity of the mountain is caused by an alien, the Doctor realizes that he is in fact the cause of the volcano eruption when he and Donna must destroy the mountian (and thus the city) in order to save the Earth from the alien invasion.
2. In which century was the Doctor's friend Jack born?

Answer: 51st

Captain Jack Harkness made his first appearance in the episode "The Empty Child" as an ex-Time Agent trying to con the Doctor and Rose.
3. Where do the Doctor, Rose, and Jack end up after being transmatted into separate, mysterious places?

Answer: The Game Station

After taking a Slitheen back to their home world, the trio are transmatted into thtree separate game shows ("Big Brother", "What Not to Wear", and "The Weakest Link") that are located on The Game Station (formerly Satellite Five).

Wilf Mott made his first appearance in "Voyage of the Damned" as a man running a newspaper stand on Christmas. He appears in the first episode of the following season but does not make contact with the Doctor again until the fourth episode when the Earth is in peril once again.
9. From which planet do the Ice Warriors come?

The Ice Warriors made their first appearance November 11, 1967 and make a total of five separate appearances in "Classic Who" before reappearing in "New Who" in 2013 with the 11th Doctor and Clara Oswald in a submarine in 1983.

Answer: Leadworth

Leadworth is a fictional town created in the "Doctor Who" universe.
