Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of these was NOT the name of a Carrionite?

Answer: Mother Scaretoe

One Carrionite in each family is given the special gift of a 'death touch' - they can kill with a single touch to the chest. Doomfinger has this ability. Lilith is the only one in her family who can take on a human form. This means she manages to blend in a little better, by looking less like a witch...most of the time. Mother Bloodtide is the first to demonstrate their ability to fly - she drops from the ceiling to attack Wiggins.
2. What did Lilith use to make Shakespeare write her words?

Answer: A puppet

5 Creepy Curses.
1. Lilith uses a spooky doll to make Shakespeare announce the performance of "Love's Labours Won" - a play he hasn't written.
2. Dolls and puppets can be so powerful that when Lilith uses one against Lynley, the Master of the Revels, it makes him spew water before killing him with an invisible blow to his chest.
3. The puppet isn't always needed for Carrionite cruelty though - Lilith turns into an old hag before killing Dolly Bailey.
4. Sometimes just a death touch is enough - Mother Doomfinger kills Peter Streete by putting her finger on his chest.
5. Lilith even turns Shakespeare into a human puppet when she drugs him and makes him write her Carrionite words into his play.
3. How many sides does the Globe Theatre have?

Answer: 14

The Carrionites made architect Peter Streete build the Globe Theatre to their design. After it was finished they sent him mad. He was sent to Bedlam - Bethlehem Hospital - which is full of people who have lost their mind.
4. Which of the following was NOT in the Carrionite chant?

Answer: Potter's Hill

Shakespeare thinks Martha's accusing him of murder when she points out that he is the only person to link Lynley and Dolly Bailey, two of the Carrionites' victims.
5. What word or words finally trapped the Carrionites?

Answer: Expelliarmus

They were at least two "Harry Potter" references made. One by the Doctor when he tells Martha that he cried when he read book seven, and this one where a spell from the book series came in very handy.
6. In the end, what object were the Carrionites trapped in?

Answer: Crystal ball

Answer: Jackie Tyler

Elton's had a fair few Doctor encounters before his time in L.I.N.D.A., first when he was a young boy and he found the Doctor in his house, and his mother on the floor, dead. Then again when the Autons got active and rampaged through London, and then he got rude awakening when the glass in his window smashed when the Sycorax ship broke through Earth's atmosphere!
10. What did Jackie wave at Elton in the launderette?
