Answer: He went to the interview

Blackadder and Baldrick are talking about how they can better themselves. Baldrick applied for the job and got down to the last two applicants, but didn't get the job because he went to the last interview. The other person was so stupid he forgot.

2. Which of these names does Blackadder not call his cousin McAdder?

Answer: Deranged lunatic

McAdder looks exactly like Blackadder except for the kilt, bagpipes and huge red wig. He is head of the Clan McAdder, which consists of himself, Jamie and Angus. Angus is a girl.

McAdder reportedly punched Baldrick because Baldrick called him something rather rude.

According to Wellington, "only girls fight with swords". Consequently, Blackadder is still reading the instructions that came with his cannon while the Duke fires at him. Luckily his cigarillo case is in his pocket and protects him from being killed by the cannon ball.

10. When King George III arrives at the scene of the duel, who or what does he say he wishes the Prince to marry?

Answer: A rosebush

The King has a strong German accent and is completely mad. He doesn't notice that his son has been replaced by Blackadder, and that the real Prince is lying dead on the floor. Presumably, Blackadder takes the place of the Prince permanently. As he walks off he says to Baldrick "Clear away that dead butler." Ooh, what a heartless man he is.
