1. In the "Deep Space Nine" episode "In Purgatory's Shadow," Garak wants whom to give him a recommendation to Starfleet Academy?

Answer: Worf

Garak asks Worf to sponsor him to the Academy while the two in the Runabout in the Gamma Quadrant. It is revealed in the same scene that it was all a hoax and that Garak was simply practicing his lying.

2. In the "Deep Space Nine" episode "The Maquis Pt. I," while in the runabout with Sisko, what does Gul Dukat say over the comm to the Cardassian vessels attacking the Federation vessel?

Answer: "...I will personally fire the photons that will destroy you!"

The Cardassians of course don't listen and before Dukat and Sisko can reach them, a Maquis attack fighter destroys them.

3. Which of the following characters has NOT worn the blue (science division) uniform at any time during the run of "Star Trek: Voyager?"

Answer: Chakotay

Both Paris and Janeway are seen in the blue uniform in the episode "Author, Author" while running The Doctor's holo-program. Seska is seen in the blue uniform in the first season episode "Parallax." Chakotay is the only one who did not wear the blue uniform.

4. Which of the following characters has NOT worn the gold (operations/engineering division) uniform at any time during the run of "Star Trek Voyager?"

Answer: The Doctor

Neelix wore the gold uniform in the episode "Year of Hell." Paris wore the gold uniform in the episode "Worst Case Scenario" while participating the in the holo-novel discovered in the ship's computer. Kim of course wore the gold uniform throughout the series, while The Doctor never wore the gold uniform at all during the run of the series.

While Robert Picardo did play Dr. Louis Zimmerman and the EMH Diagnostic Hologram (both wearing the gold uniform), neither was his actual character of The Doctor.

5. During which series is the ejection of the warp core first mentioned?

Answer: "The Next Generation"

Yep, ejecting the warp core is first mentioned in "The Next Generation", the notable example being Worf's line "We must eject the core!" in the episode "All Good Things..." It was also mentioned in "Deep Space Nine", but the first time we actually see the warp core being ejected was in "Voyager."

6. Locutus (Captain Picard's Borg self) is seen or mentioned in which of the following series?

Answer: He was mentioned in all three

Captain Picard became Locutus in the "Next Generation" episode "Best of Both Worlds." He is seen again as Locutus in the "Deep Space Nine" pilot episode "Emissary." And finally, he is mentioned in the "Voyager" episode "Scorpion Pt. 2" when Captain Janeway says "...You've done it before, when you transformed Jean-Luc Picard into Locutus..."

LaForge also originally wore red and then changed to gold but never went back to red unless one were to count the "Voyager" episode "Timeless" where he appears as Captain LaForge (red uniform) in the alternate future. Wesley did wear red as an ensign and did appear in a gold uniform later, but that was in an alternate universe in the "Next Generation" episode "Parallels."
